Best Deodorant Recommendation Please

Since going through the menopause I find my deodorant just isn’t doing the job.

Any recommendations for what’s best?

I use Mitchum too I like the powder fragrance one 100ml bottle and often on offer

BloodyCats · 03/01/2020 13:10

This is expensive but worth it IMO. No aluminium and actually works. I can use it when I exercise too, no stink whatsoever.

I usually use Mitchum stick deodorant. When it stopped working in the very hot weather last summer I changed to Triple Dry, which was very effective. I also used soap rather than shower gel for a while.

Triple Dry is half price in Boots at the moment.

Mitcham roll-on or the Sure cream (comes in a box ). I can be sweaty and nothing else cuts it

AfterSchoolWorry · 03/01/2020 17:24

Mitchum stick.

I found Mitchum made my under arms so sore and red, I am not usually sensitive. I have been using Sure Maximum but have found recently that I am really notice the the smell of it whilst wearing it. Not sure if that's another menopausal 'thing'

DesdemonaDryEyes · 04/01/2020 23:23

Tried Mitchum today for the first time and results are fab.

No sniffy pits.

Thanks.

Must try it. I use dettol soap and roll on buy not mitchum.

Megan2018 · 04/01/2020 23:31

I am using Sure Maximum Protection at the moment-am breastfeeding and since birth I sweat and stink horribly. The Sure one has worked a treat.
I know menopause not the same bit assume it’s a similar hormonal cause.

The best one I found is Dr Organic Tea Tree in Holland and Barrett. Super fresh and clean. Also wearing cotton so the skin can breathe.

Agree with Sniffy, Aldi Lacura roll-on - more effective than Mitchum and a fraction of the price.

ALongHardWinter · 05/01/2020 01:01

Another vote for Mitchum here. I used to use the roll-on one,but got fed up with it taking too long to dry properly. If I didn't let it dry completely,it would feel horrible, and wouldn't work properly. So I switched to the spray, which, which dries in seconds. I find it just as effective.

cricketmum84 · 05/01/2020 01:07

Another vote for Mitchum. I still feel sticky with all the other types. Mitchum is the only one that works for me.
