I work in conservation, that has taken me to some out of the ordinary exotic places.

Littlemeadow ah I bet that's a rewarding industry to work in!

ivykaty44 I mean the places outside of the usual tourist destinations you hear about, so for example places in central Africa, polynesia, etc. And North Korea of course! That's definitely an unusual choice of destination.

Well - I went to South Korea because I had a long flight to Australia on Korean Air - so decided to take a stop over in South Korea for a few days.

I went to the Phillipines for a similar reason - cheap flight on Philipines Air. Spent 2 weeks there.

I miss travelling.

coiner you haven't added mine to the list (about 18 posts above your last list) im pretty certain they are all countries, albeit some lesser known/visited ones. Lots of the other islands we visited belong to other territories(some other side of the world!)

One of the places we visited I'm not sure about, I thought it was a country, but it may belong to UK as it has the union Jack as part of its flag (but then so do many other countries), but could also be part of NZ as I know that is an associated state. It is called Nuie, does anyone know for certain?
