England and Scotland are countries. Pointless is wrong on that.

I've visited most of the south Pacific islands(Micronesia, polynesia, Melanesia)DH and I spent 3 months travelling around them for our honeymoon. Absolutely beautiful breathtaking scenery...... and I'm a Kiwi who grew up surrounded by beautiful scenery, but even I was blown away.

Lots of the places we went were islands belonging to bigger countries (like Aus, france,Canada America etc)
But off the top of my head actual counties were:

Cook Islands
Fiji
Kiribati
Marshall Islands
Micronesia
Palau
Papua New Guinea
Samoa
Solomon Islands
Tonga
Tuvalu
Vanuatu

Love random facts like this! No I didn't though.

neversleepagain · 01/01/2020 21:11

I didn't know that about St Helena but it's tiny with a population of less than 5000. It took an age to get there as there was no airport and we sailed for 5 days from Cape Town and at that time there was only a ship once a month to St Helena.

AdoraBell · 01/01/2020 21:12

And Ireland, bloody brain like a sieve tonight 🤦‍♀️

Dutch Caribbean islands, Aruba and Bon Aire
Argentina, way down south in the Patagonia region.

I think that’s all.

bettybattenburg · 01/01/2020 21:13
