Pregnant ladies, what are your plans for NYE?

My OH is at work tonight (ops manager at a hotel so tending to a NYE event) will probably be back around 2am and I'll be dead to the world.
I plan on going for a long soak, have snuggles with my greyhound and enjoy some bonding time with bump, OH also bought me a telescope for xmas (wanted one since I was a little girl) so I might set that up this evening if we have clear skies! Must admit, I will miss having a glass of champagne tonight!

Off out shortly to the 'kids' early fireworks that start at 5pm. Will take a flask of hot chocolate as everything else on offer is alcoholic.

Back home for dinner, maybe bath. Then probably bed as couldn't sleep from 4am last night.

I don't usually do much anyway so not feeling as I'm missing out and I'm too tired these days!

Will find something to watch, probably order a takeaway, pop open some non alcoholic fizz and enjoy the night with dh. Hoping to see in the new year but not sure I'll last!

I've got a bottle of zero percent Freixenet in the fridge and my DP is out getting more cheese. Expect I'll be in bed by 10.

Well I'm 40 + 5 now, so staying in and waiting to go into labour.
Saying loudly to my belly "January first seems like a nice birthday!"

We normally stay up to watch the fireworks, so I'll do that if I'm not too tired. Smile

We have family visiting, going for a greasy burger then walking to the beach to watch the fireworks. Hoping to get this baby to move into position a bit quicker than DS who wasn't even remotely engaged when he was induced. 3.5 weeks to go!

5 months pregnant here, so still feeling pretty good, not too uncomfortable etc. Will put my 18 month old to bed at 7pm, and then have a nice dinner with DH and maybe watch a movie (try and stay awake until midnight!)

DH is working till 8pm and up at 5am (hospital Dr) 😂
So I imagine we’ll be in bed by 9 with our cat snuggling between us because he hates the fireworks 👍🏻

Got some nice food treats for tomorrow though and my mums coming over to watch movies ❤️

You girls sound like you're doing things right this evening! 😄
I also have a big bag of Haribo Tangfastics that I'm going to demolish later (been craving sour stuff for so long now) I'm 28+2! Baby currently feels like she is trying to do the alien thing! 😆

Me and DP are taking our 2 little ones round to my parents, will be low key but enjoyable! Looking forward to eating Chinese and probably being asleep before the 2 year old :)

4 months pregnant and with a nearly 2 year old - we have friends coming over to ours for drinks and food. I plan to make up for the lack of alcohol with extra food! I reckon I can just about make it to midnight.

Forgot to say I'm 37 weeks today and will be spending the whole evening in (clean and new) pajamas, sod it Crown Grin

I think I'm kind of glad to be staying in and locking the door this evening. I was invited to the pub with my mum and her partner and a few other relatives but my OH didn't really want me out without him and I don't particularly want to sit around watching everyone else get drunk, lol.

Off for a bath with my Christmas pregnancy pampering stuff shortly, then having baked camembert with nice bread, pigs in blankets etc and Eisberg non-alcoholic sparkling wine.

Will then go for a couple of drinks in the nearest town (my husband is really getting every mile of chauffering he can out of me) and back to our village to hopefully see in the new year in our local.

Seven months gone here. Pregnancy pillow may make a public appearance if my back starts playing up lol.

@DerbyshireGirly That sounds lovely 😌 I'm getting to the point were I think I need to invest in a pregnancy pillow! Using a standard pillow under my belly and between my legs when I need to, but then I get too hot haha.

Almost 39 weeks here and like a pp, I have a stash of Freixenet in the fridge. May or may not head out to an early fireworks display with the kids soon depending on moods. Will most definitely be in bed by 10 watching TV and eating pringles Grin

Not moving from the sofa. I have nice snacks and we will cook a nice meal if we’re hungry enough. Might have a bath or a long shower, but mostly planning to sit & knit, read and watch nonsense TV Grin

7 months here dp At work until 10 ds 11 and ds 8 are happily playing on there consoles I'm going to make home made lasagna for dinner and got a nice bottle of grape Fanta for laterCrown Smile

36 weeks so starting to get uncomfortable now. I will miss getting a bit tipsy for sure. Going to plan a good NYE next year!

24 weeks and off to a friends party that we attend yearly but will likely not manage next year. Designated driver 🙋🏻‍♀️
