Looking at replacing our mattress they’ve l popped up quite a bit throughout our search.
Does anyone have one or know anything about them?

Oooh following as I'm also looking and spoilt for choice

thisisme2018 · 27/12/2019 21:11

I bought one, wasn't right for us as felt far too soft. They were good refunding when we sent it back. We now have a hybrid mattress from dreams which is perfect for us.

Hello1290 · 27/12/2019 21:14

Yes I bought one a few months back. I love it I think it's so comfortable. I find it quite firm rather than soft.

I've got one. I love it.

onedayallthiswillbeyours · 27/12/2019 23:24

Yes and love it. I was so worried as I have a sensitive back and often find myself in agony after sleeping in strange beds on holiday etc. However we desperately needed a new mattress and Emma had a really good offer on so I decided to risk it knowing that if worst came to worst I could always return it within 100 nights. The first week I was not convinced and my back was hurting but after a week my body got used to it and now I absolutely love it and have no back pain at all. I'm sleeping so much better and not waking up so often in the night either. My DP who is never in favour of spending money on anything if it can be avoided "what's wrong with the old one?" even commented last week (totally unprompted I might add) on how comfortable it is. His normal preference is a firm mattress.

ThisIsSanta · 27/12/2019 23:26

Yes, we’ve had ours six months and I love it.

AlmaMartyr · 27/12/2019 23:29

We've got one, bought last Christmas and we love it.

Branster · 27/12/2019 23:32

Yes had one for nearly a year. DH chose it because someone he knows had one and they also had an offer on at the time and the promise of no hassle returns. We spent two hours in John Lewis unable to choose a mattress prior to this!
DH loves it, I find it too firm but I can sleep on anything and am not fussy when it comes to mattresses, pillows etc so it’s not an issue.
No problems so far. The cover is washable. It had a strange slightly synthetic smell for about two weeks when we first got it so I left windows open and took bedding off every day until it disappeared.

Woeisme99 · 27/12/2019 23:35

Got one, love it. Don't buy full price, they always have a sale on or coming up, I got a double for about £400, worth every penny.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 27/12/2019 23:36

My friend has one and loves it.

KittyMarmalade · 27/12/2019 23:44

On sale in John Lewis at the moment.

Bluegrasstrail · 27/12/2019 23:50

Oh I've had one for about 3 years and I love it. It's our third mattress in a box. We returned the other two as they were too soft for us. Emma was the firmest one available at the time.

IncrediblySadToo · 27/12/2019 23:53

Are they hot?

Nutkin123 · 27/12/2019 23:56

We got one about a month ago and I absolutely love it! It's like sleeping on a supportive cloud. Just the right level of firmness and you sink into it. Have slept so well since we got it. Would definitely recommend!

Dipsydoodle · 27/12/2019 23:57

Yep love ours!

Fettyheather · 28/12/2019 00:07

Another vote for them. Really impressed and have had it about 18 months. No waking each other as we move and I am no longer achey I'm the morning.
I recently bought a pillow too. They take some getting used to but I now have no neck or shoulder pain. You have nothing to lose with their money back guarantee

sweetkitty · 28/12/2019 00:14

I’m currently looking for a new mattress and can’t decide there are far too many to choose from Confused I suffer from back pain and sciatica so important I make the right choice.

dontgobaconmyheart · 28/12/2019 03:03

Probably the opposite of what others are after but is anyone aware of any of the boxes mattresses that are soft?

I have a medical condition that causes my joints to dislocates under even fairly moderate pressure (or my own body weight) so a firm bed is a nightmare, am finding genuinely soft mattresses hard to find.

Balloondog · 28/12/2019 04:09

I've been looking at these (and Nectar/Eve etc. mattresses) in the sales too. One complaint that seems to come up with boxed mattresses quite often is them not fully unfurling/'inflating' at the corners and that the foam has split or has permanent indentations after a couple of years. Anyone with one of these mattresses found this?

Tinks15 · 28/12/2019 08:38

Thanks everyone - think we are going to go for it. Just checked John Lewis has sold out! So going to order directly from Emma - they’ve only got a few left.

I got one about 6 weeks ago and still undecided! I find it really firm, not soft at all, and am on the fence with it.
I def don’t find it cloud like, as others have said, and am quite achey when I wake up.
Bit disappointed, after all the amazing reviews.

Lefkosia · 28/12/2019 08:43

We bought one and had to return it - it gave me terrible back pain, apparently because it was too soft for me (I'm a front sleeper). Went to a mattress warehouse and ended with a random mattress that we love

Lololololola · 28/12/2019 08:50

Had mine for 6 months. As another with a dodgy back, I struggle with all mattresses, but this has been ok.
I did however REALLY struggle to get it upstairs. It is incredibly heavy and I was ready to give it back just for that.

Awks · 28/12/2019 08:52

We have a Simba which is of the ilk and I bloody love it- so comfy

SimplySteveRedux · 28/12/2019 09:14

Had one (Wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis) and hated it. We then tried a Simba mattress, absolute heaven.
