Very lucky lady here too, my DH bought me all the equipment I need to start developing my own camera film (I'm an art photographer who uses film)
a lomography action sampler camera(takes 4 shots on one exposure)
a book,
box set of the Chernobyl programme that was on sky,
Ballerina project book (made from pointe shoe satin)
Fluffy socks and matching hot water bottle
Photographers note book (for film that I want to double expose)
Microfleur flower press
Yoga towel
Crash bandicoot for the playstation
Hanging heart with my recently departed cats names on it
My favourite chocolates

I'm very lucky to get such thoughtful gifts. For my DH I bought him things for his hobby, which is restoring his classic mini. Which meant I mainly wrapped odd metal things and lengths of silicone hose. Keeps him happy though!

A subscription to ‘practical photography’. I don’t even own a proper camera. I had a look at an issue in the shop and it looked horrendously dull. Thanks PIL.

DH got me a lovely watch completely by surprise, I’ve not worn one for years and certainly never asked for one but he saw it and knew I would like it. It’s nothing fancy but perfect for everyday and exactly what I would have picked for myself.

BillywigSting · 26/12/2019 22:24

A beautiful oak coffee table with lots of storage space that I've been lusting over for months. I keep touching it and smiling like a sad act

Scented candles

A tin of biscuits shaped like a penguin (it's very cute and while not the classiest thing in the world is right up my street)

A leather weekend bag which will be perfect as hand luggage on holiday

Various gins, all local rather than mass produced and interesting flavours like clotted cream and elderberry so excited to try them all

A silver infinity bracelet

A hat and scarf

A Dr who radio picture disc vinyl

Amazon vouchers (which will probably go on books and summer clothes)

A travel mug cafetiere (very useful for work!)

A new duvet

Some lovely hand made soap that smells beautiful

A coffee machine, nice coffee and refillable pod

A cheque for £40 from a great aunt I very rarely see but who is thoroughly lovely

No chocolate but haven't seen a lot of my extended family that I usually see and who usually get me chocolate (plus we have a cupboard full and really don't need any more)

All very gratefully received and not a single thing will be going to the charity shop this year.

Feeling well and truly spoilt and like a very lucky duck!
