What gifts did you get?

I got some lovely scented candles, a new handbag, nice cushions and things for the home and lots of chocolate. Also recieved some money and have treated myself to some Jo Malone perfume

An engagement ring, our 3rd wedding anniversary in January and we couldn't afford a ring at the time but now I have one....he re-loaded my cracker...I cried!

Some perfume I chose myself, a dash cam and some walking boots from dh. He always gives me things I need, not things I actually want. And some chocs and vouchers for my favourite shop from ds & db.

A selection box of hotel chocolat chocolates. Very nice apart from the salted caramel crap that everyone insists on using in bloody everything. The chocolate tea is nice; I might buy a pack of it.

Dh got a game for his ps4.

My best presents were from my DC - a cocktail shaker and a necklace. I have no partner. The rest of my presents? Quite random - a lot of chocolates (I have a condition that means I have to restrict my fat in-take), a large flagon of olive oil, a joke book about millennials and an item of jewellery that's not very me.

Never mind. I really enjoyed the day and will probably go and get myself some jewellery in the sales.

My lovely daughter and granddaughter gave me a new phone,and a new tablet! Both much needed and appreciated. They also got me several novels,bed linen,slippers and assorted skin/shower products. So I am well happy.

Wow some of you guys get A LOT! We need to up our game...

DP finished a job my late mum was half way through and traced my family tree back to the 1700’s. He then got a calligrapher to write it up beautifully. I’m so touched, I wish she could see it.

Then a necklace, scarf and book also from him.

My mum and dad bought me a dyson hairdryer- I was so shocked as I'd just mentioned fit very briefly in passing to my mum but said I could never justify the expense, I've had a tough year though and wonder if they think o deserved a treat! Anyway very grateful.

DP and I decided to buy stocking presents only but I got the new Margaret Atwood book and some lovely clarins stuff which I was pleased about. And cashmere socks!

I'm so jealous. Dh and I don't do pressies and neither of my adult DC bother. I got a nice canvas bag from my sil.
