Would anyone like to join me in a Christmas F-Off thread? Please come and vent your frustrations here. It's free and it's cleaner then sticking your head up the turkey to deafen the screams.

• Everyone who won't acknowledge my disability and the effect it has on my life can fuck off.
• Everyone who claims not to know how it effects me despite being told can fuck off.

Christmas vomiting viruses can fuck off! Poor dd8 started being sick this morning shortly after opening Santa stuff. She's being sick about every half hour 😭 Christmas dinner and the rest of the presents are postponed until she feels better. Gutted for her, she's been so excited for Christmas Day.

Ds4 has been so patient and good about saving the rest of the presents til another day bless him.

Praying the rest of us don't get it!

I know how you feel OP, living with an invisible illness is frustrating. People just don’t get it, because you “look so well”. As long as the people that count understand that’s all that matters.

I’ve been vomiting since 7am, it can fuck right off! I’m in bed and everyone thinks I’m pregnant.

The line manager who told me on Christmas Eve that - despite my many hours of unpaid overtime - not only could I not finish five minute's early to catch my last bus home but that I'd have to work late (retail). I hope he's visited by the norovirus fairy.

I was really looking forward to this Christmas as the last few have been awful. I was very ill in 2017 and had an awkward family situation to deal with last year.

But no, too much to ask for. DH has man flu (so no Christmas gifts for me), my brothers visited our dad’s grave without me and I can’t even drink to make myself feel better as SIL is an alcoholic so we’re not allowed to.

I know I’m being a brat and other people have it much worse but this Christmas can still fuck off.

FIL started vomiting just before Christmas Dinner...

In laws who descended with 20 mins notice, telling me that the potatoes were too salty and that home made bread, chutney, cranberry and bread sauces are not as food as the neighbour's.

Toothache on Christmas Day can fuck off

Salted caramel in every bloody thing can fuck off. It tastes bloody horrible and ruins an otherwise delicious treat.

Generic fucking presents can fuck right off. It's lazy and thoughtless.

Sure you can. I can remember Christmases where it must surely have got noticeable that DH and I were (separately) slipping out far more regularly than usual.

To a particularly soothing bottle of wine we'd had the forethought to hide in our bedroom. We were playing family bingo.

My family do a secret Santa so that everybody gets one "nice" present instead of a load of tat.

Except that this year one person got two gifts and I got none.

It's a mistake I know, but I don't really get any other presents so this would have been my main one...... so secret Santa can officially fuck off!

People who pretend that they have never had a present they didn't like and struggled to be grateful for. They can fuck right off with their fake virtue signalling.

Autism meltdowns and toddler tantrums can fuck right off. The whole day is just too much for them, even though we keep it low key, we have other children so can't just ignore Christmas. Really can't wait for today to be over.

No presents or cards cant afford it all we have done is argue started a week ago and has got worse cooked his dinner i cant be arsed to eat didnt yesterday either ive a feeling things have gone past help so we may split up sposed to go to my daughters tom god alone knows how ill cope i have spent most last 7 days in tears dont think i can stop the tears now and he is sat miserable as sin i feel like taking the dogs and walking out used to sleep rough when i was younger so unhappy i want my darling partner back and to laugh again

Being friendless and feeling lonely at the time of year that is all about friends, family, presents, parties. It can all go away.

This actual day can fuck off. First Christmas as a single person in 15 years only I spent it currently with stbx DH and he was more engaged and useful than he has been since the kids arrived so it was an alright day and it's only now he's left and u have two massively overtired and hyper children whom I need desperately to go to sleep, it's only now that the while thing is hitting me and really it can all just fuck right off.
