Now watching with ds2 and my Mum... Absolutely loving it.... I never read it to ds2 who's 23 now.... He says it was read to him at school...Loving the Robbie Williams song.

I've always wondered though...did the tiger come for tea or could the mum just not be arsed cooking and told the dad that a tiger has been round so he'd take them out to a cafe for sausages???

I didn't watch it... maybe I should? I never liked the book. Read it to DD once (got given it as a present) and we both thought it was a really rubbish story

I love the book, but saw only about half of the animation and wasn't that impressed. It felt a bit padded out and the story suffered as a result.
