A child having a double barrelled surname?

Is there any NEGATIVES to a child having a Double barrelled surname when parents aren’t together.

Being double-barrelled used to be a "snooty" indicator, but for me, it now has negative connotations.

Poor @JanetWeb2812. Imagine living in a world surrounded by women who insist on not giving their children their fathers’ names only? The horror.

@JanetWeb2812 - why does it have negative connotations to you? To me it’s the opposite - a very positive sign of family unity.
