Random Acts of Kindness

After feeling so down about the results of the election yesterday, (and playing knock a door run with a miniture red rose Bush for a labour member that's campaigned her arse off) it's made me want to do more nice things for people.
Would anyone be interested if I set up a group where we all put ideas in and carried out a random act of kindness each week ( or more if you wanted).
I thought we could all do it and report back on how it went etc.

Me! It's a lovely idea and will make me appreciate all the lovely folk in the world a bit more I think and will spur me on to spread some kindness x

Great. Even if its just us three then we can share ideas. I'll wait to see if anyone else interested to see if best doing a WhatsApp group or Facebook (not that I've done one before!)

I’m in - love doing stuff like this! Anonymously left an advent calendar for one of the Directors at work the other day and she was thrilled because nobody ever does things like that for her!

Lovely idea. I'm in. The other day I heard about a family who were really struggling. They were worried about xmas. I put £40 in a xmas card and anonymously posted it. Won't fix the world but might pay for a simple xmas dinner.

I overpaid the Big Issue seller (never ask for my change back, especially at this time of year knowing that between Christmas and new year is a hard time for selling) and gave him a £5 Greggs card so he could eat/drink and not worry if I’d bought the wrong thing (learned this after one guy always refused any food and it turned out he was gluten intolerant so once I knew I could check what was safe for him (Greggs tomato soup used to be plus some sweet stuff that was labelled as such) - he used to be made up that someone cared enough to make sure he could eat and not have to worry). I hate that for a 1st world nation people are having to sell a magazine on the street to survive so the least I can do is support them in this to try and keep that person safe - plus it’s a good read despite me always messing up the suduko!

I also worry that my RAOK’s Luke this will be taken the wrong way - no, I’m not lady bountiful, just someone who has sailed close to the edge myself with the MH scares to prove it, and now I am in a better position don’t want others to have to go through it either
