Do you and you family wear matching Xmas pajamas?

OP posts:
FairyOnTheTree · 10/12/2019 09:19

No. Zero plans to rectify that.

Chemenger · 10/12/2019 09:20

No, why would anyone?

No.

BiddyPop · 10/12/2019 09:23

Hell no!

We all get new PJs for Christmas.
DH gets a plain pair from M&S (repeat for the past 5 years) as that is what he likes and finds comfy.

Dd and I sometimes get festive ones, sometimes not. But never matching!! It’s bad enough that she grew out of some favorite sports socks so now it’s not just a fair split between the 2 drawers, but needing to check the (tiny print) sizes when pairing them up and then when splitting between drawers.

Immyidiot · 10/12/2019 09:24

Um, no

SweetAsSpice · 10/12/2019 09:25

No.

No.

Never.

ExpletiveFairylighted · 10/12/2019 09:26

No, no Christmas pyjamas at all let alone matching ones. I hate pyjamas.

twins2019 · 10/12/2019 09:27

We do......I'm a bit of a Christmas mentalist though

happytoday73 · 10/12/2019 09:27

No... Not aware anyone does

BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 10/12/2019 09:28

Nope. We get new PJ's for Xmas but not Xmas themed so they can be worn all year round.

DownToTheSeaAgain · 10/12/2019 09:28

Sounds like the seventh circle of family Christmas Hell

(That's a 'Hell No')

Gustavo1 · 10/12/2019 09:28

My children do. The adults don’t.

I have nothing against it. Just don’t want to bug myself pyjamas that I will only wear for a month. The kids have two pairs and alternate which they wear from 1st December to new year. I always buy big so they last 2 seasons and we can pass them down too.

AuntieMarys · 10/12/2019 09:29

No. I don't wear Xmas jumpers or anything sparkly or sequinned. Or Xmas earrings or flashing brooches.

quitecontrary123 · 10/12/2019 09:30

No. More bollocks to get people spending even more cash as Christmas along with Christmas Eve boxes and Christmas bedding.

gothefcktosleep · 10/12/2019 09:30

Errrr.... no, but only because I forgot to collect them when I ordered them and then that design subsequently sold out. I don’t like any of the alternative designs... so this year no, but next year maybe.

mumofone2818 · 10/12/2019 09:31

Odd one out here but yes we do! I love it on christmas eve new jammies and there matching, there not tacky though with christmas print, i buy them from Etsy and there lovely!

ethelredonagoodday · 10/12/2019 09:31

Absolutely not. 🤣

ineedto · 10/12/2019 09:31

No but they are coordinated Xmas Blush

WombleishMerryChristmasOfThigh · 10/12/2019 09:33

Nope. DH doesn't wear pyjamas and neither do the dog or cat.

Ninkanink · 10/12/2019 09:34

No.

funmummy48 · 10/12/2019 09:35

No.

notapizzaeater · 10/12/2019 09:42

Yes we do but it's the only time of year any of us wear PJs - they get washed and put back in the xmas eve box for the next year. We wear them until lunch Xmas day 🎅🎅🎅

TreestumpsAndTrampolines · 10/12/2019 09:43

Never have done (although I've bought the kids matching pyjamas before - but just because it required less thinking than buying different ones).

This year I have. We've had a long and tough year, and I thought it would be fun (ok, not fun, but that the kids would enjoy it) if we all had matching. Now that MIL's coming, I've bought her a pair the same too. Nothing crazy, just red and white stripes, that it'll be totally fine to wear after Christmas too (although probably not all at the same time).

I don't intend to make this 'a thing' though. Just thought it would be good this once.

Andbreatheout · 10/12/2019 09:44

Yes and love it! We don't do fancy advents (old school chocolates for us Grin ) or Christmas Eve boxes but we do matching Christmas PJs on Christmas Eve because the kids think it's the best thing ever because it is
