Perfect steak sandwich

Hello,

We are having steak sandwiches this weekend and I am really looking forward to it, but want them to be incredible! Please could you tell me how to make your perfect steak sandwich? What bread, what condiments, etc etc. Thanks!

Warmed ciabatta that's lightly toasted, lots of Dijon mustard, tobacco onion rings, lots of pepper and very rare fillet steak

Tobacco onion rings?! How does that work?

Sourdough bread, mature cheddar, caramelised red onion chutney, rocket and a bit of mustard mayo

Fresh baguette, caramalized onions, butter and Dijon mustard

No consensus on the bread so far then. I was thinking of one of those three

Sourdough, blue cheese and onion rings

I find ciabatta a bit hard work. The crusts are insanely chewy.

Toasted ciabatta, garlic mayonnaise, rocket

Toasted ciabatta, English mustard, jarlsberg cheese, caramelised onions.

Blue cheese and a little bit of mayonnaise

Focaccia (not sure of spelling), horseradish mayo, rocket and red onion chutney

Sour dough bread
Spinach
Red onion
Medium rare fillet steak

Baguette, onions and black garlic ketchup.

Ohgod I've been veggie for years but this sounds so delicious.

Fresh baguette, butter, Dijon mustard, sliced fillet steak or minute steak, fried onions and peppers.

Lightly toasted ciabatta rubbed with a garlic clove. Lots of butter, seeded mustard, caramelised onions and rocket. Then very rare fillet steak with a charred crust thinly sliced. Yum yum yum.

Definitely baguette for the bread!

Sourdough roll
Butter
Horseradish
Beer battered onion rings
Mayo
Mixed baby leaf salad

And proper steak - ribeye, fillet, sirloin, rubbed with oil, salt and pepper, cooked rare and rested well, then thick slices.

Just decided what to do for lunch on Christmas Eve 🥰🥰🥰

Ciabatta just warmed split down middle rub with garlic. Set to side

Steak use a skirt steak if you want the best flavour. Cook smoking hot with salt pepper and oil. Take out of pan and rest on side.

Put ciabatta in pan and toast the inside with steak flavour.

Juice should have come out of the steak cut steak mix it in the juice

Butter the ciabatta add some cheese maybe provolone.
Steak in.
Little bit only tiny of onion.
Squeeze it down together and cut in half

Serve with chips

Ciabatta lightly toasted
Caramelised onions
Mushrooms
Rocket
English mustard mayonnaise
Rare steak thinly sliced

Or

Sourdough bread
Flash fried minute steaks
Onion gravy so thick it's practically a life form

@Squishedpickle well you can either buy ready made tobacco onions or make your own but tbh I can't be bothered making my own as it's too much flaff

Part baked baguette, baked fully just before cooking steak so it's still slightly warm.

Pan fried steak, with mushrooms and onion fried in butter, with a spoon of dijon mustard stirred through the onion/mushroom mixture.

Butter, then steak, then mushrooms and onions, then a dollop of ketchup.

Ciabatta drizzled with olive oil and rubbed with a garlic clove, roast red pepper, grilled tomato, rare rib eye steak and loads of pepper 😋
