Perfect steak sandwich

Hello,

We are having steak sandwiches this weekend and I am really looking forward to it, but want them to be incredible! Please could you tell me how to make your perfect steak sandwich? What bread, what condiments, etc etc. Thanks!

@GiveMyHeadPeaceffs I've never heard of tobacco onions, before I was wondering how you imbued onions with the flavour of tobacco until I googled!

Cheap white barm
Oodles of butter
Flash fried fatty steak
Slow cooked onions
Squidged flat with hand

I am drooling thinking about "Gordon ramseys ultimate steak sandwich" I find it a bit of a faff and not a quick meal so dont have it often, but it's so good.

Mix mayonnaise with Dijon mustard and horseradish

I am now starving.

Mine would be

baugettine slice drizzled with olive oil and rubbed with garlic salted too.
Fillet steak medium rare with a New York steakhouse rub. While it’s resting I would sauté red onion then add some spinach and garlic black pepper and salt.
Remove from heat when water has evaporated and add some saint agur blue cheese. Slice steak diagonally, spoon some of the mixture in top.
Serve with triple cooked salt and vinegar Maris piper chips and a tomato and red onion and radish salad.

The mushrooms as a side are lovely as well.

small sized baguette, warmed but not crisped. thin sliced flash fried steak. salt. fried mushrooms. horseradish sauce.

We've just had steak and thick onion gravy sandwiches with chips for tea. Best tea of the week!
