What are you all using puff pastry for???

First world problem I know, but Ocado is sold out of every kind of puff pastry. I'm betting lots of you must have ransacked them of their stock and there isn't a national shortage.

What are you making with it????

I shall venture out to a proper shop tomorrow because I don't have the butter (or the will) to make my own pastry. I was planning to make my own sausage rolls but I'd like some inspiration for something more interesting if you'd be so kind as to indulge me.

I made this with the last block, yesterday, I highly recommend because it was easy and epic.

@Patapouf

You can thin out the marmite as much as you choose. It wasn’t an every day food so now and again I’d be okay with. I’m more of a anything in moderation person so don’t get overly worked up on these things.

Goats cheese and cherry tomato tarts 😊

I bought three packs of ready rolled today just in case I can't get my hands on more before Christmas.

My priorities, in addition to sausage rolls, are:

Cheddar and marmite puffs

Mincemeat pinwheels

Rough puff is much easier to make than full puff.

I can confirm that Delia's vegetarian sausage rolls are very scrumptious!

I don't bother making my own pastry, just use ready made puff pastry.

Patapouf · 10/12/2019 20:49

I'm not sure I've ever tried a veggie sausage roll but the recipe does sound delicious.

Rick Stein made a very yummy looking tomato and aubergine tarte tatin on his programme last night.
