I've resolutely kept it the wardrobe since buying in October, but now they're selling even cheaper in the shops and it's calling me!!!

Make me feel better when I open it post bed time so I don't have to share with DC.

Personally ate a whole box of orange Matchmakers while decorating the tree last night!!

tillytoodles1 · 04/12/2019 18:17

So far I've eaten a small box of chocolates and I only bought them on Monday. I haven't had chocolate for a long time and they were stored in my bedroom so they were there when I went to bed.

bluebellation · 04/12/2019 18:18

No, because it's not Christmas.

BBInSleepsCounting · 04/12/2019 18:23

I haven't bought the Christmas chocolates yet, let alone opened them.

Fluffiest · 04/12/2019 18:25

This reminds me, I have a chocolate deer in the kitchen that came free with a bottle of baileys that I bought last week. Might break in to that this evening!

greyspottedgoose · 04/12/2019 18:26

When does Christmas technically start? Are you meant to save them all for Christmas day?!

NomDeQwerty · 04/12/2019 18:27

No because they are safely in the shop where they belong until at least 20th December.

Pyjamaface · 04/12/2019 18:27

Yes because the Sainsburys delivery coincided with my period arriving, so that was half a tub straight away!

Glenthebattleostrich · 04/12/2019 18:27

Of course not, I have some self control.

And I'm full from the shortbread and stollen.

Pascha · 04/12/2019 18:29

Not bought any yet. Several tubs of Pringles have mysteriously disappeared though Xmas Smile.

We don't eat much chocolate really. After eights and some lindor pick n mix from the local outlet store will do us nicely.

onemouseplace · 04/12/2019 18:31

Not until about 20 minutes ago when I was filling some bags for the Christmas fair with miniature Santa chocolates and some mysteriously found their way into my mouth.

Pascha · 04/12/2019 18:32

@greyspottedgoose

Nobody is interested after boxing day here really. I consider the all of December open season on festive fare.

ItsJustTheOneSwanActually · 04/12/2019 18:32

Box of biscuits seems to have vanished - not bought the chox yet

IggyAce · 04/12/2019 18:33

No and I refuse to buy tubs of celebrations/roses or quality street so the only chocolate I will have is if I’m gifted some.

MutedUser · 04/12/2019 18:33

I’ve bought the same chocolate orange for DD 4 times. The fifth one is getting wrapped straight away.

Ragwort · 04/12/2019 18:34

Yes of course, and finished two boxes of Bendicks Bittermints, not to mention the cheese footballs which seem in short supply this year. Started some truffles today, lovely.

ssd · 04/12/2019 18:36

Have just opened a box of Hotel Chocolat classic Christmas box

totallyradllama · 04/12/2019 18:36

My mum gave us a box of quality street and all we have left are 3 toffees

Bluntness100 · 04/12/2019 18:40

No, because I'd rather not be th size of a small house come JAN first...

DancingPyjamas · 04/12/2019 18:43

We're on our second tub of Celebrations. Blush

VanyaHargreeves · 04/12/2019 18:45

Haven't bought them yet!

Belfastian · 04/12/2019 18:46

I've run out of places to hide them. DH has opened 3 tubs of sweeties in the last few weeks😂

Anjo2011 · 04/12/2019 18:46

I have two small selection boxes to replace.......

lifeisgoodagain · 04/12/2019 18:49

Ate the truffles I bought for my mum yesterday!

gothefcktosleep · 04/12/2019 19:03

Husband absolutely distraught I won’t let him tuck in yet. Despite the fact that between us we’ve destroyed 3 selection boxes so far but apparently that does not count.
