I hope it’s not true with everything that’s going on with Prince Andrew. Anyone else heard this?

You can stop being "so sad 😔 " now @Peppermint5555

Ps. Final written warning for your "advisors"

Squigean · 02/12/2019 09:35

My husband wasnt one of the 'in the know' DHs. But he did reveal last night he reckoned it might be true. If anyone finds he lost common sense, please return it to the address sewn under the collar.

BlouseAndSkirt · 02/12/2019 09:36

Further to my insider info on Gibbo and Ricey:

(Both now sacked, obv. Ricey is founding a digital start-up in Shoreditch to handle the re-branding if the London Bridge code as it has lost its exclusivity)

For a women of her age she looks amazing.
Must be all that homeopathy 👍
( shoot me now 😂)
I hope she has many more years left in her.

Squigean · 02/12/2019 09:37

BBC arent to blame, the Ricey chap never got back despite saying he would.

Mitsouko67 · 02/12/2019 09:37

Long live the Queen.

Butterymuffin · 02/12/2019 09:40

It's an easy fake rumour to start though and have J chance of being right, because one day not too far away it will inevitably be true. Stuff like:
I was told at the end of last week from a 'source in the palace' that Prince Philip is critically ill, but they are not announcing it yet
Sounds plausible because it's frankly very likely. Most 97 year olds are ill with something and won't have long to go. It's like announcing that 'sources have confirmed' that a toddler in your area will have a tantrum today. The rumour starters will be right eventually by accident.

ActualHornist · 02/12/2019 09:45

I’m just picturing Her Maj with pre-prepared sign saying I ATE’NT DEAD on it.

The Queen looks amazing still and surely has to stubbornly outlive her mother by at least a year so my prediction (not that it actually means anything) is we won't be losing her til about 2030/2031

Phil has been looking terrible for a long time though. Amazed he's still going.

Nicola Sturgeon is still talking about hospitals. Come on BBC, this is embarrassing. err what? Are people really so gullible as to believe that words of the queen’s death would emerge on twitter first and that there would be a 24 hour delay before an official announcement? Really?

What’s embarrassing is people thinking there was actually going to be an announcement at 9:30 this morning and that twitter/facebook/WhatsApp/even mn would be left to speculate until then.

Some years ago, before 24 hr news, if anyone asked my brother casually 'was there anything on the news?' he would reply 'the President's been shot'. Then one day it was true, and my mum didn't believe it.

I should think the one person who could legitimately say 'my dh would be the first to know [If HM died]' would be the Duchess of Norfolk. Is Her Grace on this thread?

retiredand · 02/12/2019 09:53

Am I the only one that thought vaggie was being sarcastic?!

Sure, but that's not the same as coming here and saying "My DH is a marine and has confirmed it's true" - your example of hearing that Prince Phillip is unwell is plausible, the other is clearly total bollocks.

retiredand · 02/12/2019 09:54

" I should think the one person who could legitimately say 'my dh would be the first to know [If HM died]' would be the Duchess of Norfolk."

Why would the Duchess if Norfolk's husband be the first to know??

louise5754 · 02/12/2019 10:18

My husband is also a marine (Sargent) I didn't ask him whether it was true.

If he had wanted / was able to tell me he would. That's if he knew anyway. He would probably find out on the news like the rest I had marine??

Quebeth · 02/12/2019 10:19

Who is the Duchess of Norfolk?!

StealthPolarBear · 02/12/2019 10:20

Apparently if we don't know we're stupid

louise5754 · 02/12/2019 10:20

I imagine**

PotteryWheel · 02/12/2019 10:21

Why would the Duchess if Norfolk's husband be the first to know??

He's the one tasked with organising the queen's funeral.

PotteryWheel · 02/12/2019 10:25

I mean, whoever is Duke of Norfolk at the time is also hereditary Earl Marshall and has the job of organising the queen's funeral -- I think she's already outlived at least one of the ones who might have expected to do it.

Queen death hoax: Sick trolls panic royal fans with 'evil' fake claim about Queen

THE QUEEN is alive and preparing to host Donald Trump at Buckingham Palace dispelling a distasteful hoax about her apparent death which spread across social media causing royal fans to panic and “freak out”.
