We're off guitar shopping for dd1's main Christmas present & a few bits and bobs.

I'm rediculously excited!

I did the bulk of my shopping yesterday, the tree's going up tomorrow. There's only dd2 who has homework & that isn't due until Friday. The washing's up to date, shop came on Thursday (but we might walk to Lidl for the fresh air tomorrow).

We have the WHOLE entire weekend to mooch about doing nothing much 🎄🎅

Still in bed

Will be taking DD to see Frozen 2 this afternoon.
No matter how much housework I do, more seems to magically appear, so no doubt I'll be doing some of that.

Dd and I are going into town to buy new shoes for her and something for me to wear to drinks tomorrow.

Then a small food shop, and back home to watch Christmas films and be very lazy! My ideal day.

I’m currently waiting for an appointment at the early pregnancy unit for a scan as I’m bleeding. I’m about 6/7 weeks.
Then home to DP, DS and DSD, tree up and off out for the local light switch on this evening.

DH has taken DD swimming. DS and I are watching CBeebies in our pjs. I have a heavy cold and I’m facing the prospect of work and then taking the DC to watch the Christmas light switch on solo as DH has a work do to go to. I’m a bit meh about it all!

No plans for tomorrow though so I can hopefully work quietly then with a box of tissues while DH brings me cups of tea.

Jealous of the mooching! I'm currently sitting watching Cbeebies with DC. One is dressed, one is not. My sister's coming over for her birthday tea later and we've baked a cake. I'm still recovering from that before I can face decorating it with them. Other than that we have half a house to unpack, mounds of laundry, and generally a total tip to unguddle, plus I'm on a night shift tomorrow. Going to try to get loads done this weekend though so we can do the tree next weekend!

Still having a slow morning after a late night Christmas party yesterday. After lunch we're going shopping for DD1s new coat, going to the aquatic shop for marine water and I'm thinking of getting our potted tree whilst we're near the garden centres.

There's a ton of laundry to do and I suspect a pet has pissed on the living room carpet somewhere, so the vax will need an outing.

Its my 39th birthday today. So far I've done 3 loads of laundey, yelled at my girls about the absolute horror state their bedroom is in, painted my nails, had a shower and I'm now chilling whilst i watch DH hoover.

I'm having a little party later, so DH has put together a cocktail list (he used to work in a cocktail bar so knows his stuff) so will need to make the house look presentable as well as myself.

Taking my daughter to a museum, only about 15 minutes away.

Still in bed (early here) with a MONSTER hangover from last night, popped out to a new friend for a quick drink and ended up home at 1am!

Supposed to go to school Christmas fair but after getting ready my daughter decided no. So she's got archery in an hour. I've vacuumed everywhere in anticipation of pest control coming out - mice in loft and now seen in kitchen and livingroom!
I've half sorted through my Christmas decorations- trying to do housewide 'swedish death cleaning' (as opposed to Marie Kondo) - so many are broken, tired etc so the dining room looks like an explosion of christmas cheer. Getting tree tomorrow. Also going abroad for Christmas in a couple weeks and trying to get all the stuff together for that.

I'm still in bed.

I'm hoping to have a baby! Been having twinges and my lower back is all sore - as if I had period pain. But it's my first so I have no idea if this means things are imminent or not - but to speed it along I've dragged DM and DH to Nando's ....

@Zaffa exciting.....what will you call the baby if it's born in Nandos?

Me and DD walked the dog, stopped in for coffee on the way home, it was lovely. then cleaned the house top to bottom including chucking out loads of things from the kitchen cupboards.

Currently sitting down for a cup of tea and rest before doing the final room.

I was supposed to be in Bath, for a weekend of Christmas market shopping, spa, excellent eating and afternoon tea, with dear old uni friends I only get to see once a year due to us living far apart.

But instead I’m in bed on codeine with the worst flu of my life. I’ve asked Dh to go and buy me some Bovril - I haven’t eaten for four days.

Wrapped afew presents earlier.

Drinking coffee and thinking about a bath :)

Walked dogs. Now lying on the sofa with a dog tucked in beside me and child watching Scooby Do.

Might drag ourselves out to an Xmas market if we can be arsed. But I suspect not, it's very cold out.

I've filled DD's advent calendar ready for the morning and popped out to the shops.

Trying to get some work done but getting too easily distracted. Need to make an apple crumble and then looking forward to chilling on the sofa with some xmas mags this evening...

I am coming no down with a cold, so am welded to the sofa titting around on MN and watching repeats of murders on ITV3, and feeling sorry for myself.

Not-soD H is snoring gently in an armchair. No plans for us for the rest of the day.

DD is making herself a late brunch, and will be going out with mates later on.
