We're off guitar shopping for dd1's main Christmas present & a few bits and bobs.

I'm rediculously excited!

I did the bulk of my shopping yesterday, the tree's going up tomorrow. There's only dd2 who has homework & that isn't due until Friday. The washing's up to date, shop came on Thursday (but we might walk to Lidl for the fresh air tomorrow).

We have the WHOLE entire weekend to mooch about doing nothing much 🎄🎅

What about you lot?

Im only just up, terrible jet lag!!
DH is banging around being busy, DD and DS2 have gone to help Nanny in her new flat.
I can't motivate myself to do anything, need to start Christmas shopping 😂

I'm in the middle of an arthritic flare so am cwtched up on the sofa, with the fire on and I'm surrounded by two of the people i love most in the world.

DP is about to go hunter gathering to Asda and i think DS1 wants to tag alomg, so it'll be just me and the felines for a bit. I'm happy.

It's Small Business Saturday today so we've been to the local hight street and spent a small fortune supporting it Grin ended by popping to the local reuse centre for their food bank raffle and won a bottle of bubbly and books for the dc, now back home watching elf.

No plans for the rest of the day other than playing with dc. Original plan was a trip to local shopping centre to buy the dc a present from each other but we've had so much more fun looking at the lights and seeing friends. Feeling very Christmassy!

Going to a Ceilidh tonight. I live in Essex so this is not a normal occurrence. I do not know any of the dances and am completely without rhythm or coordination so this is probably going to be 'interesting'.

Alcohol definitely helps in these circumstances, right?

@BatleyTownswomensGuild alcohol definitely helps but a Ceilidh is good fun and very exhausting!
