Help me figure out what this film is please

Dh has been trying to get me to watch a fil for about the last 15 years. But neither of us can remember. I was reminded when he talked about 'pitch perfect' and I thought it had pitch in the title. For some reason I think it's about journalists but could be wrong.

Adult world?

Adult World is a satirical comedy about an eccentric young woman, Amy Anderson, (Emma Roberts) who has just come out of university, convinced she's going to be a famous poet. Just going for something 15+ years old about writers / journalists that's a comedy and working on the basis OP sees smut in any bland title

Mainly because I've just discovered that Napoleon Dynamite was a 2004 film and I would have previously bet on it being a late 90s film, and Big Daddy was a 1999 film I could have sworn I saw at the cinema in the early 2000s. So the mind can be a trickster...
