If there isn't enough murkiness in all of this... here's a bit more...

Taken from Twitter
Given the demotion of Prince Andrew this week, my mind keeps drifting back to this GLOBE front page from September:

"Queen Ordered Epstein Murder!"

Here's the link if you want to see it..... front page....

I still don't believe they're reptiles though! Just horrible humans

I agree

Really interesting article detailing the link between the royal family, Lord Mount batten on particular to Jimmy Saville and paedophile rings in southern Ireland and the UK.

Threads do go off at a tangent sometimes, subjects are raised and people pick up on them.

Being as there were (apparently) thousands of prominent people involved with Epstein, when will it be their turn to be in the spotlight?

ohwheniknow · 23/11/2019 17:36

I still can't read or hear that "positive act" comment without it chilling my blood. It just sounds like a rapist's description of sex.

Kissedafrog · 23/11/2019 17:37

Haven't watched it yet.

MillyMollie · 23/11/2019 17:57

I couldn't understand why Beatrice's parents didn't warn her off to take it slow with Edoardo because of his track record - a fiancé of his own and a two year old.
Now I understand, having seen that interview !
ShockShockShock

RhinoskinhaveI · 23/11/2019 18:14

Indeed. Boris’s quick fire answer about the royal family on the ITV debate was that they’re “beyond reproach”. Shocking
I understand why people are critical of his response but (imo) it is important to realise that he said the institution of the monarchy was beyond reproach

as said he has to be diplomatic, he cant just blurt out 'Andy is a friend of the nonces'

RhinoskinhaveI · 23/11/2019 18:17

I still don't believe they're reptiles though
I see it as a metaphor, to us these people are cold and predatory, unable to empathize with the people and so remote from the people that they seem like a different species

Roussette · 23/11/2019 18:27

Kissedafrog That footage was savage. I know little about body language except that a liar pads out a story but it was Shock

Roussette · 23/11/2019 18:33

But surely no-one is beyond reproach? Even an institution. Look at that charity from a couple of years ago, Kids Company, it had all that government money and was found to be severely lacking. (understatement). If we don't question 'institutions' we may as well live in Russia. It's a bit like Trump is not above the law. Or beyond reproach.

In what way is it interesting to accuse dead people you didn't like of paedophilia? I can think of a few words to describe it, and the people who would do such a thing, but interesting isn't one of them.

Was "Nick" involved too? How about dead Conservative politicians and donors? Strange that the only celeb paedophile rings are Tory, don't you think?

And judging by the amount of times your magazine has been sued, I wouldn't take what they say as gospel. Check out their wiki entry.

ajandjjmum · 23/11/2019 18:41

But it was the people who made the charity go wrong - not the charity itself. Same applies to the institution of the Monarchy.

thenightsky · 23/11/2019 18:42

@rrg1

I've just spent the afternoon watching that full video you posted right at the beginning of this thread! Some of the stuff Sonia Poulson says makes me wonder if she's a mumsnetter.

Roussette · 23/11/2019 18:43

Yes agree. And the people should be questioned. I suppose that's BoJo's let out on talking of the institution, he knows his popular base.

SerendipityJane · 23/11/2019 18:49

Bollocks. Big hairy Boris bollocks.

No institution is ever above reproach. And list of those that thought they were would be enough in itself to show why.

To some Americans - possibly to this day - the "institution" of slavery was beyond reproach. In fact it was often called the United States peculiar institution as an attempt to silence debate.

Boris is rapidly - almost daily - demonstrating he's not as bright as the people he's lying to.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 23/11/2019 18:50

I would t be at all surprised if the photo was doctored. However I think the real truth is far more awful and this photo is just currency to use against him.

That's actually quite offensive to Russians, who topped their royal family over a century ago.

RhinoskinhaveI · 23/11/2019 19:02

I dont want to set myself up as a Borris apologist, my overarching point is that he had to give a diplomatic answer

Roussette · 23/11/2019 19:05

And who routinely murder journalists who dare to speak up. And send over operatives with novichok.... rightio.

LittleSweet · 23/11/2019 19:08

Hahaha Rhino! Boris being diplomatic!!!!😆
I didn't realise that Epstein's main business was blackmail. That body language expert was really interesting.

CallmeAngelina · 23/11/2019 19:17

Boris's response was always going to be misunderstood and mis-quoted by people whose comprehension skills are lacking.

Roussette · 23/11/2019 19:22

Insulting CallmeAngelina

CallmeAngelina · 23/11/2019 19:26

But true. One sees evidence on here all the time of people's poor comprehension skills and leaping to (wrong) conclusions.

Roussette · 23/11/2019 19:33

True in your opinion. I feel I'm pretty versed in what's going on
