I haven’t watched the interview, but heard reports of the content. I just find it unbelievable he claims he can’t remember meeting a woman he had his arm around! Despicable. Does anyone believe him?

I also believe he was lying during that interview. The answers were simply illogical. On top of that his lack of remorse for being involved with Epstein, lack of any empathy for the victims and lack of any horror at what occurred is palpable and is what's causing a lot of public distaste.

However as said it really comes down to why he refuses to be questioned by the fbi or submit his alibis for validation, I can't get past that simple fact.

In my opinion, Any innocent person would be keen to do this and clear their name.

thesunwillout · 18/11/2019 07:34

@lookatthebabypenguin

Hahaha, made me laugh, PTSD here too, still buying the Sure.
We were robbed xx

flowerpowerr · 18/11/2019 07:37

EM: Do you regret the whole friendship with Epstein?
PA: Now, still not and the reason being is that the people that I met and the opportunities that I was given to learn either by him or because of him were actually very useful.

What a total and utter arse he is.

What I don’t get is why on earth he allowed the photo to be taken? He must surely have realised it would come back to haunt him?

He’s arrogant for sure & he’s shown no empathy for the girls but him posing for that photo to me means

(1)he didn’t know she was trafficked or

(2) he knew & he’s just too stupid to see it would come back to haunt him.

WineOrGinOrBoth · 18/11/2019 07:46

I forgot to add he clearly is stupid as he went to stay at a convicted sex offenders house. Why? Just why?

peridito · 18/11/2019 08:06

Not sure I'd want to stay somewhere that was like a railway station with ppl coming and going all the time .

queenofarles · 18/11/2019 08:12

Well he thinks it was a great Success! That’s what he told the Queen in church, Confused.

Anyone else seeing the RF in a new way? I mean yes they did some bonkers stuff in the past but this attitude from PA in this day and age Makes them look horrible specially the Queen.

I also think he wouldn’t have spoken if Epstein was still alive.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 18/11/2019 08:15

I actually feel we should have a referendum on the Monarchy now. I feel strongly they need to go and I’m angry the public just has to put up with paying for them.

Not sure if a pp has pointed this out as I haven't rtft, but if he is lying about the Pizza Express alibi, it's very risky. There might be payment records still in existence and/ or he will have been " clocked" by other diners in the restaurant, some of whom might have a good reason to remember the date, if they were there, eg, for a birthday celebration. He's said he went there only the once, so if he's lying, he risks being found out.

QueenOfTheAndals · 18/11/2019 08:21

He may well be telling the truth about Pizza Express - I don't think he has the imagination to make it up. But it isn't inconceivable that he took Beatrice to a party there around 5pm and then was in Tramps by midnight once she and her sister were in bed.

BertrandRussell · 18/11/2019 08:25

Yes- it’s take about an hour to drive. Less to go by helicopter landing on Harrods roof....

SunsetBoulevard3 · 18/11/2019 08:28

Harrods is nowhere near Woking. I doubt very much he actually went into Pizza Express anyway. If he drove her himself as he says, he probably dropped her. Why wouldn’t one of the staff have driven her?

WineOrGinOrBoth · 18/11/2019 08:30

Mind you when I use to take the dcs to birthday parties I needed a lie down after to recover. No way I could have coped with going to a nightclub.

BertrandRussell · 18/11/2019 08:31

“ Harrods is nowhere near Woking.”
Hmm
It is quite close to Belgravia, though....

ElizaStrawberry · 18/11/2019 08:34

I actually feel we should have a referendum on the Monarchy now.

Maybe we could vote to keep the ones we like - like a cross between The Apprentice and Big Brother. Grin

WineOrGinOrBoth · 18/11/2019 08:37

Could you imagine another referendum though following the last one?

Anyone feel sorry for PA having to be so honourable & remain friends with a convicted sex offender? No me neither.

JinglingHellsBells · 18/11/2019 08:37

Makes them look horrible specially the Queen.
So the 93 yr old Queen is somehow responsible for the behaviour of her 59 yr old son?

Are you mad?

Not sure of your age but do your parents have control over your life?

MsTSwift · 18/11/2019 08:38

Oh I agree about the referendum. Why can we not have a president? People often whine “yes but who would it be” and cite tony Blair or similar. Firstly they would be elected so could get rid and frankly I would rather pretty much anyone tony Blair included (at least family man) over characters like this self important selfish abhorrent sleaze.

BertrandRussell · 18/11/2019 08:40

“ So the 93 yr old Queen is somehow responsible for the behaviour of her 59 yr old son?”

No. She is responsible for publicly supporting him, though.

ElizaStrawberry · 18/11/2019 08:41

PA: Now, still not and the reason being is that the people that I met and the opportunities that I was given to learn either by him or because of him were actually very useful.

TRANSLATES AS

'No, because although he was trafficking girls the age of my daughters I made some business contacts that I was too stupid to make by my own volition.' though he wouldn't have used the word volition obviously ...

merrymouse · 18/11/2019 08:41

Harrods is nowhere near Woking.

Harrods is near the nightclub.

WineOrGinOrBoth · 18/11/2019 08:41

Makes Charles’s sidelining of PA all the more understandable doesn’t it?

MsTSwift · 18/11/2019 08:43

The current system is whoever is born to the role gets it. We the public have to accept whoever that may be character flaws and unsuitability notwithstanding. That’s why the system is so fundamentally flawed imo.

LarkDescending · 18/11/2019 08:43

I suspect a petition will not be required to get his charities to wash their hands of him.

Charles will be spitting bricks - currently on tour with Camilla and nobody knows or cares.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 18/11/2019 08:44

@JinglingHellsBells
She’s the bloodyQueen. It’s her job to keep everyone in line. Andrew has been behaving disgracefully for years. I suspect she just turns a deaf ear or shuts her eyes. I genuinely think the RF think they’re above criticism and somehow absolved from behaving in a moral and responsible way . Which makes a mockery of the Queen being head of the church.
