I haven’t watched the interview, but heard reports of the content. I just find it unbelievable he claims he can’t remember meeting a woman he had his arm around! Despicable. Does anyone believe him?

Oh right Andy - I went there to tell him I had to cease contact, couldn't do it over the phone as that would be chicken.

Fucking unbelievable that he thinks anyone will buy this.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/11/2019 21:20

He is completely contradicting himself. So he is an acquaintance he had to tell in person that he was “breaking up with”
“We can’t be seen together; so let’s go for a walk in the park.“ and completely coincidentally they were photographed.
What the hell did Epstein have over Andrew.

merrymouse · 16/11/2019 21:21

So he ended the friendship because of

"all the attendant scrutiny on me", not because JE was a convicted paedophile.

OMG, such bullshit.

He went to Epstein house to tell him he doesnt want to see him anymore, cos it wasnt appropriate! Yet the telephone is the "chickens way out!".
You were breaking up a 'not-close friendship', not breaking up with your wife.!

JanetandJohn500 · 16/11/2019 21:21

Jesus, it's such bullshit that I feel embarrassed for him 🙈

Bluntness100 · 16/11/2019 21:21

I'm really trying to be open minded, but this is well rehearsed pr bullshit. Dropping in his roles, the nspcc, etc,

And this is clearly a lie about having to go and see him to break up the friendship but staying several days and going to his dinner party.

I think this interview was a mistake.

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/11/2019 21:22

Yes of course, he's too honourable, that's the problem. FGS!

merrymouse · 16/11/2019 21:22

You were breaking up a 'not-close friendship', not breaking up with your wife.!

Exactly!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/11/2019 21:22

Andrew is excavating himself a hole with a digger.
He is unbelievably stupid.

justasking111 · 16/11/2019 21:22

I am sure this interview was a mistake.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 16/11/2019 21:22

People were coming in and out of the house but I knew nothing.....and he didn't get a foot massage

DavetheCat2001 · 16/11/2019 21:23

I am watching through my fingers.

Such a bad liar..

merrymouse · 16/11/2019 21:24

"There were people coming in and out of that house all the time, what they were doing and why they were there I had nothing to do with"

Confused
PlanetoftheWood · 16/11/2019 21:24

What an absolute fucking disgrace. Not "I don't want to be friends with you because you're a disgusting person" but "I don't want to be friends with you because people will judge me". He blatantly went to speak with him in person to make sure his own actions were kept quiet.

Bluntness100 · 16/11/2019 21:24

And agree, if they weren't close friends, why did he need to tell him in person and stay for four days,

And his body language says he was lying about the foot massage.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 16/11/2019 21:24

Then so John Brockman(?)is lying about the foot massage....

'well I don't know him'.

Not definately he's lying.

LarkDescending · 16/11/2019 21:25

What a load of bollocks. He’s not even bright enough to be a good liar.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 16/11/2019 21:26

Omg he just said he doesn't regret the friendship!!!

Did the Queen drop him at birth???

Bluntness100 · 16/11/2019 21:26

This makes no sense, he keeps saying they were not close, he was there due to his girlfriend, but he had to see him in,person.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 16/11/2019 21:27

Major opportunity to disown the creep in a live TV interview and he doesn't take it.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/11/2019 21:27

It’s like watching a toddler trying to lie.
If he wasn’t such a despicable person; I’d feel sorry for him.

viques · 16/11/2019 21:27

So, you have this friend, well not really a friend, more of a casual aquaintance who you see two or three times a year when you stay in their houses, their island and travel on their jet, Anyway this friend, sorry casual acquaintance , is convicted of trafficking young girls so you decide to go and stay with them in their New York mansion to say you don't want to be their friend any more. OK, They say, we can't be chums any more, but stay in my house, I'm having a dinner party for you Gosh that's nice you say.

He's not doing well is he? I would have difficulty believing him if he told me the sky was blue.

Wildorchidz · 16/11/2019 21:27

Wonder if Fergie is watching?

merrymouse · 16/11/2019 21:27

He says he is surrounded by security people all the time, but also finds it more convenient to stay somewhere where people are constantly coming and going and it's impossible to identify who they are. Confused

awaynboilyurheid · 16/11/2019 21:27

The house was like a railway station people( ie young girls ) coming and going but I didn’t know ( or suspect) anything, We weren’t close but I had to see him to break up with him as I,m so hounourable and I had to stay with him for several days... what total rubbish
