Just that really. Does anyone want to share their exciting/non exciting plans for the weekend?

NorthEndGal · 15/11/2019 09:51

Saturday during the day I have a booth at a craft show selling my art, then I am watching my friends dd for the evening.
Sunday is going to be a full day of beachcombing, and then friends around for a bit of supper and then out for drinks

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 15/11/2019 10:09

North yours sounds lovely! I would love to live by the beach.

The only thing we have planned is dinner and wine at the pub tomorrow evening. I really need to pull my finger out and come up with more than that, but it's our last quiet weekend until after Christmas so a bit of me wants to keep it low keyGrin

What about you OP?

LouisaJenny · 15/11/2019 10:16

Out for dinner this evening.

Pottering around the house tomorrow and perhaps a walk to the beach if its dry, then visiting the Christmas market that’s just opened up in the evening.

Sunday is a family cinema trip in the afternoon and hopefully out for a roast after.

Nice and chilled.

Diy2019 · 15/11/2019 10:17

@NorthEndGal what kind of art do you do?
I'm glad you have a nice relaxing Sunday to look forward to after what sounds like a busy day tomorrow.

@tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz
Dinner and wine at the pub sounds good Smile yes, its good to have a quiet weekend before the mayhem of Christmas arrives [santa]

I have a non exciting weekend of two children's parties, a scouts investiture and a rugby blitz!

@LouisaJenny can I come and live with you? Grin
A walk on the beach followed by visiting a Christmas market sounds so good.
What do you plan to see at the cinema?

She is 9 months old but haven't seen these uni friends due to clash of timetables. Cannot wait!

Cordial11 · 15/11/2019 11:22

This is going to sound smug but honestly not... we live in Australia and it’s boiling this weekend. We are going to sit by our pool with meat and cheese platter . Maybe a coast walk sunday! Perfect Smile

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 15/11/2019 11:38

On Saturday I'll attend a symposium on autism. Interesting topics realting to the transition into adulthood.
On Sunday I'll probably do nothing much apart from revision and knitting.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 15/11/2019 11:40

I am very lucky to live on the coast, and I get to go to the beach every few days, it means I get to haul home lots of stuff!

What are your plans for the weekend?
spiderlight · 15/11/2019 12:23

DS is in a fencing competition that starts early on Sunday morning so we're travelling down tomorrow to stay nearby in a lovely-looking country in, and are going to surprise him with a visit to the Fleet Air Arm museum en route (he's a total aviation geek and hasn't been there since he was a toddler). Sunday will be mostly spent looking on in bewilderment as he fences because it's all a bit of a mystery to me!

midsomermurderess · 15/11/2019 12:42

Putting together a new kitchen table. Looking at paint colours. Some food shopping and cooking. Possibly a swim. Nice and easy.

Crunchymum · 15/11/2019 14:17

I'm still recovering from the horrible virus doing the rounds, so the plan tomorrow is a PJ day. Shopping being delivered early so I can batch cook for the week ahead and I'll get the essentials done.

Sunday we have swimming lessons, then a trampoline party, then dinner at granny's. I am exhausted just thinking about it, hoping my energy comes back soon!!!

LoonyLunaLoo · 15/11/2019 15:05

DS is going BMXing tomorrow morning then we’re going to Manchester Christmas markets with friends. Then on Sunday we’d going to look at some show homes.

isseywith4vampirecats · 15/11/2019 15:24

@spiderlight i did fencing at school loved it so elegant

BearSoFair · 15/11/2019 15:30

Off to my Sister's for her 50th tomorrow evening, if it's anything like her 40th then we'll need a quiet Sunday to recover! DS1 is spending the weekend at his girlfriend's and MIL is having DD and DS2 for the night then we'll pick them up on Sunday. Weekly shop on the way back then an afternoon in.

Hisdoeherbuck · 15/11/2019 15:31

Tonight and tomorrow deer hunting, then Sunday will be storm prep for the incoming weather.

D0G · 15/11/2019 15:33

Off to a city to get seriously pissed with friends tomorrow, 2 hour journey, Sunday will be travelling back and mostly dying, will try to have a quick ride on my horse Sunday afternoon when I’ve finished dying.
