Just that really. Does anyone want to share their exciting/non exciting plans for the weekend?

A night in Bournemouth to visit the Christmas tree wonderland thing. Lymington first then on to Bournemouth for the evening, staying in a cheap hotel and going to Hurst castle the next day. And no boys, our dses are older teens and staying at home alone😎

Unfortunately I'm on the sofa with a migraine at the moment having spent most of the day in bed, hoping it shifts soon.

Dinner/drinks with friends tonight - then probably nothing much the rest of the weekend as I was also out last night at the tennis

Diy2019 · 15/11/2019 15:51

@D0G
Enjoy your night out, I'm sure it's well deserved Smile don't think I'd be able to manage riding a horse with a hangover though!

Thank you I may well not manage it to be fair 😂

Plan for the whole weekend (and Monday) is to wallpaper our upstairs hallway. We've painted the woodwork and it's only down to the dado rail - what could possibly go wrong apart from plummeting to my death over the bannisters?!

DD1 has swimming lesson tomorrow morning, we're going to a family party in the evening and having people to stay. It'll be fine though!

NorthEndGal · 15/11/2019 17:55

Thank you, I have fun making them!

I’m taking ds 15 to see Six tomorrow at the theatre in Kingston.

Really looking forward to spending time with him.

Saturday- finishing off the nursery, cuddling up with the kitties and perhaps dinner out if I can persuade myself to waddle out of the front door!

Sunday- collecting the online shop, going to the tip and lunch with DH's grandparents. Home to cook dinner for Monday and Tuesday and hopefully an early night!

mynewusernamenow · 15/11/2019 18:25

Going to watch the England Roses (rugby ladies) take on France tomorrow with my youngest. Rugby is not really their thing but as the oldest is out of the country they are humouring me as it's my early bday treat for myself.
Quiet day on Sunday as will probably be recovering as we are likely to head to the pub after the match

EL8888 · 15/11/2019 18:27

Embryo transfer from IVF tomorrow 😮. Then taking it easy

Sunday fiancé is at work. So lie in, walk on the beach and some cooking / baking for me. We cleaned the house from top to bottom, did the washing and food shopping today, to free up the rest of the weekend

Fredy45 · 15/11/2019 18:59

EL - super good luck!!!!

Last pre Christmas quiet one here. Kids sports club first thing tomorrow, possibly some Christmas shopping as are seeing family next weekend for gift exchange.

Some kind of walk/exercise. Strictly

Sunday maybe a swim or yoga, prep for the week and a roast topped off by David Attenborough and strictly results.

MrsJonesAndMe · 15/11/2019 20:08

Birthday party for a teen to throw which includes one sleeping over. As well as all the usual homework/housework etc.

Have a lovely weekend all!

Bezalelle · 15/11/2019 20:30

Synagogue tomorrow morning, and a catch-up with MIL.

No plans at all for the rest of the weekend, and I can't wait to just sit and read and maybe do a spot of light housework.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 15/11/2019 22:22

Update:
Found out that my local supermarket had baking suplies on offer. So I took out my cookie spreadsheet and went for a haul.

So it's the first Christmas baking session on Sunday. Well, scrubbing the kitchen first, but then .... Smile

MaureenMLove · 15/11/2019 23:10

This weekend I will mostly be packing boxes in readiness for my move, which hopefully will be before Christmas. The dots are nearly joined up on the dot to dot of estate agents, solicitors and mortgage companies, so it could potentially only be a couple of weeks!

Sadly, this will have to involve seeing the ex, but the more shit he can clear out, the better I'll feel at the end of the weekend!

Must get more excited about new life....
