"Antibiotics... they're wonderful pills, but don't ever think they'll cure all of your ills"

Yes. The antibiotics song 🤦‍♀️

I had in on a loop in my head last night and then noticed this morning, I was actually singing it out loud whilst doing the washing up...and with an embarrassing amount of enthusiasm Blush

Beat that!

Most of mine are from Cbeebies. Waffle Dog, Ooops Oh No, I've got an Idea.

Doo doo doo doo..... biggleton...

hennaoj · 15/11/2019 14:53

This one is a bit more obscure. The music from the Carnival Festival ride at Efteling. My 6 year old insists on watching youtube on ride videos of it, on repeat. (It's even worse than the Small world music)

GummyGoddess · 15/11/2019 14:55

Cocomelon's fruit song. It's horrific at getting stuck in your head but my toddler loves it.

raffle · 15/11/2019 14:55

For some reason I’ve been singing The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance at work for months now 😡

And every time I break into song, 2 of my very unhelpful colleagues sing Baby Shark at me to help dislodge the ear worm.

Then within a few minutes every bugger is wandering about singing doo doo doo doo doo doooooo!

mumwon · 15/11/2019 14:56

Theme to van de valk

EdersonsSmileyTattoo · 15/11/2019 15:34

Kenny Rogers - The Gambler, at 2 in the fucking morning!!! Hmm

Yes they cheat, the evil cubey bastards (I think there might have been alternative endings where the good spheres win). I also remember bugger all about the show, except a bad scary lady called Zelda(?).

BareKneesDeCourcy · 15/11/2019 15:44

mumwon

Van der Valk was known in our house as “Bob a Bom” for some reason.

I think the tune was possibly also used for early adverts for Alton Towers, when it was just a nice house with gardens.

Someone's knocking at the door... somebody's ringing the bell.....
Postcode lotteryHmm

EoinMcLovesCakeJumper · 15/11/2019 15:51

There was also a sphere called Dix-Huit, who had a French accent and a little moustache. That's all I've got, though.

Reading this thread, I'm glad I don't have children, as it sounds like they destroy your brain with their music. I've never heard Baby Shark and I never want to.

GrouchyKiwi · 15/11/2019 15:54

The song battle between Princess Elena and her Abuelo where she says she's ready to rule and Abuelo is all "what TF do you know about it, you're 16 and have been trapped in an amulet for 41 years". 'Cause I know I am ready to ru-uule, though you think I have learning to do. I know I am ready.

The Princess Sofia theme song.

The Mister Maker theme tune. Doo doodoo dooooo. Mister Maker.

GrouchyKiwi · 15/11/2019 15:56

It's actually a very catchy song so you can all sing it too. Because sharing is caring.

longhaulstress · 15/11/2019 16:02

polly That's one of mine too and my eldest is 13!!

The other major one is 'Kung fu fighting' but just the 'orh orh orh orhhh sexy kung fu fighter'
Started after dd started takewondo 4 and a half years ago and that's it ever since. She doesn't go anymore but I still haven't got rid of itAngry

iklboo · 15/11/2019 16:37

And "what's going to work, TEEEEEEEAM WORK" from Wonder Pets. DD is 15 now and I've never managed to forget this one.

'This is sewioussssss'

TheNoodlesIncident · 15/11/2019 16:41

My Ds randomly plays Baby Shark on his cornet.

I will get my revenge though, as I know a thousand ghastly tunes that will get in your head and lodge there forever more, including that one about the with cloooooogs on, going clip clippety clop on the stair, right there.

I will make him sorry.

Stravapalava · 15/11/2019 16:54

"Oops, oh no, I haven't got a clue / this is a disaster and I don't know what to doooooo" off of CBeebies.

That and Dragostea Din Tei! If I hear that I'm off for weeks with it.

MepsiPax · 15/11/2019 17:08

Had to laugh at your earworm OP! Grin I know exactly what you mean, every time I hear that ad on the radio,it starts threatening to become an earworm!
My earworm at the moment is a Rush song, who I've recently started getting back into,I was a massive fan of theirs in the early 80s,when I was a teenager. It's a track called 'Red Barchetta',and after listening to it once last week,it's been stuck in my head ever since. Despite listening to lots of other stuff since, that one comes creeping back every time.

kippenvel · 15/11/2019 17:38

I love this musical to pieces but DP is pretty much 5 minutes away from evicting me thanks to it! Grin

HPandTheNeverEndingBedtime · 15/11/2019 18:14

`Mother had a chicken, mother had a cow. Dad was proud, he didn't care how'. A nickelodeon or cartoon network show I watched 15+ years ago, often randomly gets stuck in my head, no idea why.

MepsiPax · 15/11/2019 18:39

I'm Grin at the phone number ones mentioned on here! Anyone remember '3-5-3-5-000'? Or '9-0-3-8-3-8-3'?
