My Baileys Went out of date in May. Will I die?

Just the title really. My pumpkin spice baileys went out of date in May (this year).
It has been unopened. (I was saving it).

Will I die if I drink it?

Nope, sure you will be fine. And if you did die, least you'd die happy...

just make sure you consume it quickly once you do open it ;) :D

Its alcohol that's a preservative isn't it? If unopened I would anyway sure they just put a sell by date so u have to buy some more well done for not drinking it all mine would last a few days at the most!

It has cream in. You'll be able to tell if it's gone off. It will smell bad and possibly be curdled. If it smells good, looks good and tastes good it will be fine. Take a small sip and see. If it tastes like it should, drink it.

I am terrible for throwing things away as they have gone out of date - but I would drink this if it hadn’t been opened, the alcohol will have preserved it, enjoy!

I made a cake last weekend with some stem ginger in syrup that had gone out of date, er, 20 years ago to the month.

Well, I thought, apparently honey bottled by the ancient Greeks is still edible and sugar is sugar...

I have eaten several slices and it is delicious.

I doubt it, but As the saying goes. You’ve got to die of something, I suppose.

It will be fine, try it poured over vanilla ice cream!

I've some Aldi copies of Bailey's that are well past date.

It’s probably a “best before date” rather than a “consume by date”. You’ll be more than fine. Enjoy.

My in-laws gave me a bottle of baileys that went out of date in 2003 earlier this year. I had a mouthful but it was definitely past it’s best. Sure anything less than five years out of date would be ok?!

I wouldn't personally drink it but that's because I get ill so easily that I don't risk having anything past the sell by date anymore..

I had some 6 years out of date - it tasted ok but I wouldn’t risk drinking loads in a go just in case 😬

Probably. I had a bottle that was open in the fridge that was about 5 years out of date by the time I'd finished it, and it hadn't gone off.

Honestly, unopened and six months out of date is nothing.

I think baileys only say it's got a shelf life of two years, which is the longest of all the cream liqueurs. I'd smell it and taste it, but I'd not tank it tonight and see how I feel tomorrow, after say a small one tonight.
