Hi

Thought I'd combine two of my favourite threads...so what are you up to at the moment and what do you have planned for your meal?

DH cooking risotto, DC on console playing and I'm bumming about on the sofa freezing despite them walking about in T shirts Hmm

cheers Wine Gin Brew

Been selling poppies today. Now bathed, fed and just mning. Dinner was a pork, pepper and beans things with Yorkshires for DS to go with it. Stripped the beds today and am looking forward to climbing in to my lovely fresh smelling bed - all sheets line dried and back on. Perfect.

Canada. It's around 1 degree and snowing what I call Christmas Day snow - gentle waves of snowflakes!

Is it too early to watch Home Alone?!

Spent the morning cleaning after dropping DH off at the station to watch his beloved football team. Took DD2 15 shopping for clothes. Came home and cooked a nice spaghetti marinara sauce with olives and chilli for us both. Waiting for a text to pick DH up from the station.

Shock at people wrapping Christmas presents already. Not even used the C word yet this year let alone buy or plan anything. Feels like summer is only just over to me.

I went to work for 14hrs today.
I had a microwave meal veg curry and rice at lunchtime, am eating some cheese and crackers now so I suppose that's my tea/ dinner.

Sitting at the computer cuddling my new puppy while my DH cooks dinner (I think it's monkfish tonight).

Ah he/she is gorgeous @aurynne

I'm not sorted for Christmas at all either. That's December's worry!

We had a lovely walk in the sun today, then did all the boring stuff like shopping, cleaning and homework.

Tea was ham, broccoli, buttery new potatoes, carrots and corn.

This morning I took DC2 to church while DH went to do his hobby, then he picked DC1 up from Brownie pack holiday while I tidied up and DC2 watched my little pony. DC2 was very pleased to see DC1 again. I have played with DC, then they have watched a film (DC1 is exhausted from not sleeping at Brownie pack holiday) while I cooked dinner and ironed school shirts. Dinner is lentil shepherds pie. We will eat that, then bath and bed for DC and I make packed lunch, sort out school stuff for tomorrow and tidy up the mess dinner has created.

I'm having ikslander chicken with flatbread and bulgar wheat from a local Turkish restaurant. There's so much tempting stuff on the menu, (moussaka, kleftico, fish) but I always order this because it's easily the most delicious take-way I've ever eaten.

Watching telly and eating super noodles. A lazy Sunday.

A good bit of decluttering done but house is still upside down. DC been in all day playing after a few really busy weekends. Made minestrone soup for lunch with left overs for my work lunches. Made a curry for us with turkey thigh, spinach, salad, mango chutney and peshwari naan. Warm cookie and ice-cream for dessert. Now to get DC to bed, get everything ready for tomorrow and finish my book.
