I find if I keep myself marginally colder than is comfortable it reduces the flushes a lot. Also avoiding alcohol (sad face).

HRT! Do yourself a favour! Why suffer when you don't have to?

Drum2018 · 07/11/2019 21:39

I started sea swimming and I haven't had as many heat fuelled nights since. My legs are still cold from being in today at lunchtime Grin.

Yep, sage. I took the Victoria health ones. Sage complex. Took about a month to kick in but worked wonders.

I was chilly last night, so wrapped myself in an extra duvet, put my ear plugs in and slept deeply until 6.30. I'm 53.

HRT folks.

CatUnderTheStairs · 08/11/2019 12:28

Yep HRT, replace that falling oestrogen, that's what's making your thermostat stop working.

Overseasmom100 · 08/11/2019 14:24

I dont think I could stand the periods!!!
I only heat up at night if it were all day long I would consider

Sarcelle · 08/11/2019 16:23

@Trewser I also slept like the proverbial log, ear plugs in. I am 53.

Sage tablets, no HRT.

Really not against HRT and would take it asap if I had the need but other stuff works for other people.

Trewser · 08/11/2019 18:20

Yes, whatever works!
