I have never tried decaf. Does it tastes the same as the caffeine version?!

Instant decafs are generally not great. But if you make 'proper' coffee from good decaf beans it can be very good.

7Worfs · 26/10/2019 19:27

I just bought some ground Colombian one from Sainsbury’s and it was nice (got a filter machine).

rosie39forever · 26/10/2019 19:32

Sainsburys own barista style decaf in the silver tin is very good can't tell the difference from caffeinated and it's on offer at the moment, or percol decaf is good too.

Waitrose 1 decaf is the best imo but Taylor’s decaf is good too.

HypnoMonkey · 26/10/2019 19:35

I need a nice instant decaf!
Are all these suggestions instant?!

Ebonyandivory2 · 26/10/2019 19:35

Aldi’s ground version is fantastic and very cheap

LittleMissNaice · 26/10/2019 19:35

I use the Taylors coffee bags for decaf.

EsmeShelby · 26/10/2019 19:38

Another one who uses the Taylor decaff coffee bags. Can't get them everywhere though. I have Percol as a back up.

Clipper is the best decaff tea IMO. Not that you asked about tea.

ParrotsForLife · 26/10/2019 19:41

Percol is lovely.

MoreTeaPenguin · 26/10/2019 19:44

Clipper instant decaf coffee is tasty - the one in the glass jar with a green label.

Inmyownlittlecorner · 26/10/2019 19:47

I use Nescafé Azera Americano decaf. Mainly because it was on offer, but I actually really like it.

lboogy · 26/10/2019 19:50

I second nestle azira. I despise nestle as a company so I'm looking for a good alternative

picklemebrains · 26/10/2019 19:53

Aldi and Lidl rainforest alliance ground is great.

JudgeRindersMinder · 26/10/2019 19:56

Kenco instant decaf is ok

CharlieandLolaCat · 26/10/2019 20:01

I used the clippers one when I was pregnant too.

ExpletiveDEVILighted · 26/10/2019 20:03

We have Azeera instant at work, its pretty good.

flatpack1 · 26/10/2019 20:09

My favourite is L'OR

Igmum · 26/10/2019 20:09

Taylor's ground ☕️👍

Ineedabettername · 26/10/2019 20:19

L'or is really nice with kenco as a back up

Flyingsouthwiththeswallows · 26/10/2019 20:21

Taylors of Harrogate.

I have tried dozens and this is definitely the best. You can buy it as Ground, Capsules or Coffee Bags.

Worth every penny !!

Elderflower14 · 26/10/2019 20:23

Aldi for me.
Tried Morrisons and it was awful.. Coffee floated to the top and wouldn't mix In properly...

Heatingson · 26/10/2019 20:24

Clipper

Camsie30 · 26/10/2019 20:30

Clipper decaf coffee is delicious, I love it with hazelnut milk

jackstini · 26/10/2019 20:39

Cafe Direct Machu Pichu

Frazzled2207 · 26/10/2019 20:41

Supermarkets have a good selection "posh" instant coffees these days and we like them all eg. kendo, Azera, L'or.
Or real stuff or capsules are perfectly nice. We honestly can't tell the difference taste wise.

PS starbucks etc will do anything you want decaf too only discovers this when I was pregnant Blush

Decaf tea on the other hand is truly awful stuff. I bought some and had to chuck it out (I get headaches with too much caffeine so tend to have decaf except first thing)
