Do you like scary rollercoasters/waterslides/ghost trains?

And what's the scariest one you've been on?

I'm indifferent to rollercoasters: I take the view that if they can get through health and safety, nothing terrible can happen (yes, there was the notable exception recently, but much less likely than being injured on the roads). Ghost trains: I have yet to go on one that's truly scary. My parents told me about old ones where a man in costume would ruffle your hair, does that ever happen nowadays?

I do find some waterslides truly scary, perhaps because I was a late swimmer, especially the "space bowl" ones, where you whizz round a huge bowl, and drop through a hole in the middle. "Devil's Drop" in Paignton was the most terrifying thing I've done recently! But I can't stop myself going to these places, and putting myself through it. Shock And I believe there's a new indoor waterpark in the Midlands, where there's one of those where you stand on a trapdoor before going down, down, down...

I love rollercoasters and thrill rides. I’ve sky dived and bunjee’d a few times and have loved it.

I despise ghost trains, they scare the shit out of me and I’m similarly scared on water rides (both flume like rides and water slides).

I once did a zombie run and was petrified. We had to go into houses which were pitch black and people were jumping out at us.

Ah. No, the rapids were quite tame when I went. That sounds scary! They were, I loved them! All my family did. When they slowed them down that was mostly why we stopped going because it was our favourite part of Water Worlds.

I'm okay with ghost trains because I can close my eyes if needs be but I hate the noises and strobe lighting some have. And they always seem to feature a scare right at the very end so you scream and the 'audience' outside of the ride can laugh at you. I hate water slides, except the ones in 'tubes'. Hate the ones where there are only sides. I always think I could fly over the edge and completely off.
