Lip balms!

Could any of you recommend a lip balm that actually moisturises and soaks into the lips, please? I've tried a few, inc Vaseline, and feel like they just sit on top of the lips and don't help much. I've already got a split lip, and can't spend another winter like this :'(

Low-cost ones would be most appreciated, as I tend to lose them after a week or so!

My eldest daughter regularly gets very sore lips and Blistex helps. I can't remember its exact name but it's in a metal tube.

Okeefes lip rescue! Brilliant stuff

Pinkkahori · 22/10/2019 13:24

My dd really likes Bioderma.
She suffers from dry lips and has tried lots of different ones.

Sparkletastic · 22/10/2019 13:24

Reve De Miel - Nuxe
Cicaplast - La Roche Posay
The Beauty Pie one is also excellent if you are a member.

TankGirl97 · 22/10/2019 13:30

Another vote for blistex here. (The one in a metal tube)

DeepfriedPizza · 22/10/2019 13:33

Dr Lipp nipple balm. probably meant for nips but lots of people use it as lip balm. It's the best i've tried

BigbreastsBiggerbeard · 22/10/2019 13:35

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. Been going years and it's great for skin and as a lip balm. Expensive but you can get it on ebay cheaper (I never, ever buy it from a store). It last forever. The tube I got has been going a year, at least.

ReginaGeorgeous · 22/10/2019 13:35

You need the blistex intensive repair one in the white tube.

GreenFlamingo11 · 22/10/2019 13:37

Beauty kitchen Wonder Balm from Holland and Barrett or Kiehl's Lip Balm #1.

Carmex

Zippetydoodahzippetyay · 22/10/2019 13:50

Just adding to the chorus- blistex and carmex are by far the best in my opinion.

DefinatelyAWeeGobshite · 22/10/2019 13:52

Blister in the pot
Blistex relief in the metal tube is my go to in winter
CareNel sleep mask (Amazon) I think that’s the brand. It’s a wee pink pot

BertyFlanter · 22/10/2019 14:16

100% medical grade lanolin is the best stuff ever. It's often marketed as a nipple cream but is awesome on lips, dry skin, feet....

BelindasGleeTeam · 22/10/2019 14:21

Vaseline is a barrier cream. Fine to protect lips which are ok, but won't add moisture.

I love Dr PawPaw balm. Really good on lips and other dry skin.

DettolObsessed · 22/10/2019 14:22

Lanolin nipple cream works wonders.

SpanishFly · 23/10/2019 13:37

Thanks so much everyone, I've ordered one off amazon and will work my way through the suggestions if it doesnt work
