This will probably bring people out the woodwork to say they hate so and so celebrity but who are the ones that you never really hear a bad word said about them? My nomination is: Dolly Parton.

Michael aspel ....

Bozlem80 · 21/10/2019 17:53

Have to agree with Kathy Burke she seems lovely

NotExactlyHappyToHelp · 21/10/2019 17:53

Can confirm Monty Don is a good egg. My DDad worked with him on a scheme to rehabilitate prison leavers and he treated everybody with the utmost respect apparently.

Pete Postlethwaite lived in my town and was loveliness personified I’ve been told by many a person.

Can’t deny that Tom Cruise while a cult member is spoken of incredibly well. He greets everybody, remembers names, asks after family members etc right down to the tea lady. They were talking on Graham Norton the other week about how he sends absolutely everyone he’s ever worked with or been interviewed by a cake at Christmas. He has a lot of time for fans too apparently.

Keanu and Dave Grohl are my top picks for utter sweeties!

Julie Walters and Victoria Wood are my idols too.

Tattybogle3 · 21/10/2019 17:54

Totally agree, Matt Baker giggling idiot yes and will add sycophantic twat.
Neil Oliver, couldn't have put it better myself !

Bradley Walsh is lovely so I’ve heard a few times and he walks past my friend and I a few years ago and smiled at us bless him .. we didn’t worry him think he was in lunch break from theatre work

Always had a crush on Tom cruise as a younger woman ...
So lovely to hear he is a lovely fella 😍

cavalier · 21/10/2019 17:56

Kathy Burke has to be my fave celeb bless her 💕💕👍

Zenith123 · 21/10/2019 17:58

Monty Don is my hero, along with Attenborough, Ian McKellen, an Liz Taylor. I always despised saville!!

MockersthefeMANist · 21/10/2019 17:58

Michael Caine has of late been something of an arse expressing his idiotic and nonsensical political views on chat shows.

Still greatly and rightly admired for hs acting, but a bit of a rightwing pillock.

overnightangel · 21/10/2019 17:59

“Benedict cumberbatch“

Can’t stand him!!!

ptumbi · 21/10/2019 17:59

I loved Terry Wogan, he could do no wrong (although a Policeman friend of mine said he was partial to a drink...)
And Ken Bruce, seems lovely.

Micheal Palin is renown for being lovely.

Tom Hanks - can't bear him. Smug.

tobee · 21/10/2019 18:01

Not Michael McIntyre, David Jason.

TheRealQueen · 21/10/2019 18:03

Jack Black
Bradley Walsh
Brian Conley
Paul Hogan

MockersthefeMANist · 21/10/2019 18:03

I will nominate Paul Gambaccini, and note that when he came back from his involuntary sojourn, all the R2 jocks were supportive except Wogan, who avoided him like the plague.

tobee · 21/10/2019 18:03

Matt Smith on the other hand I have on good authority is lovely.

MacavityTheDentistsCat · 21/10/2019 18:04

I can't believe Sandra Bullock has only been mentioned once! Surely no one seems to dislike her?

Genuine50 · 21/10/2019 18:05

I'm always amazed at how well liked the young Harry Styles is. Seems to charm everyone with most commenting on his good manners. Judge Rinder was all giddy singing his praises recently. Van Morrison and Stevie Nicks have been very complimentary about him and the biggest shock of all was Liam Gallagher who never has a good word about anyone saying "He's alright, man and the guy can f*ing sing."

pinkstripeycat · 21/10/2019 18:06

David Attenborough

He’s so sweet and his voice is like a big warm blanket. Reminds me of my dad

TheRealQueen · 21/10/2019 18:11

Liam Neeson

Whatamesshaslunch · 21/10/2019 18:12

I’ve heard some unsavoury stories about graham norton.

My vote goes to David Attenborough

PaulHollywoodsleftbollockhair · 21/10/2019 18:13

Mary Beard

This is all VERY cockle-warming Smile

A friend of mine used to tour with people as their chef - he said meatloaf was lovely & always made a point of thanking him personally. Marilyn Manson was nice - but fuckin weird - his words.

MockersthefeMANist · 21/10/2019 18:17

Tom Cruise?

Scientologist and Katie Holmes kidnapper?

Nah.

ViciousJackdaw · 21/10/2019 18:18

Katie Piper is the dogs bollocks, my young cousin was badly burnt in a house fire and met KP at a bravery awards a few years ago - she still sends cards/goodies to her.

Rafa Benitez and his wife are loved in my city, even by the Evertonians - very kind and generous people.
