Celebrities that nobody seems to dislike

This will probably bring people out the woodwork to say they hate so and so celebrity but who are the ones that you never really hear a bad word said about them? My nomination is: Dolly Parton.

Meryl Streep.

I've heard David Tennant is a right knob in real life. I can't stand David Mitchell. Lovely David's are obviously Attenborough and also David Bowie. Top bloke who paid the school fees for Marc Bolan's son after Marc died. Haven't heard anyone say a bad word about him.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the lovely Michael Ball

I know someone who knows people who've worked with Michael Ball and said he's a total luvvie and diva. I was very disappointed because I thought he would be a big cuddly sweetie.

No way to Meryl Streep. Way too close to Weinstein

I don’t think JK Rowling is likeable at all.
Jamie Dornan is hilarious in interviews. I hope he is as funny in real life.

I've met Joanna lumley, she was really lovely and not at all pretentious, following year we had Jennifer Saunders and she was also lovely, ade edmondson came with her with their then toddler daughter, now an actor of course. I did like that job, a lifetime ago

Cant stand Holly Willoughby!

It's obvious that for every person that most people love, some one will come on here and say "Ooh, no, they are horrible! " Even if they've never met them!

Back to Davids, Tennant and Attenborough. Have never heard anything nastily similar about either of these delightful men, apart from an occasional snitter on mumsnet. I would say 99% of experience puts them on the good list. Ditto Bowie. His ex Angie has/had plenty to say that was uncomplimentary whereas hundreds of people found the reverse. I'm with the majority in all of these.

Someone mentioned Graham Norton. I used to see him regularly in the supermarket and he was spectacularly rude to me and DS, who was only 18 months old, so clearly had no idea he was famous and certainly wasn’t after an autograph.

Clearly we all have different views on this! Some of those mentioned I've never heard of, and others I can't bear to see or hear - Sandi Toksvig, Lenny Henry, David Jason spring to mind, mostly because they are smug and think they're funny but they're not. David Attenborough seems nice, as does Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks, and others but us plebs can't really know if they're as lovely as they appear.

My aunt has met Antonio Banderas a couple times and said he was disappointingly boring. Talked about himself all the time.
Dustin Hoffman is a neighbour to the same aunt and she thinks he's lovely. Gives them amazing xmas pressies every year (a really posh scrabble set, snow shoes).
