We're looking for this church window, we're in west Wales, we've been to Llanwnda, little Newcastle and Letterston, but we haven't found it yet. Can any wise mumsnetters give us a clue??
We've just thought, it might not even be in a church!!
Thank you Smile

Why do you care this much? Have you made a special holiday to find it?

KnittingSister · 19/10/2019 09:41

@Gojojogogogo
We'd just like to see it. We were going there on holiday anyway, and will go again, so it would be nice to see it. We saw plenty of other good windows while we were looking Smile

I love that you are having a fab time in what is in my totally unbiased opinion one of the loveliest places in the world. I have to say I completely understand what you are doing, it's the sort of thing I would do, a tiny adventure or treasure hunt where actually the hunting is the main pleasure and leads you to new places you might not have gone otherwise.

If I see my vicars wife friend in the near future I'll show her the picture and see if she knows of it. She's got pretty extensive West Wales church knowledge.

Thank you, we're home now, but we had a great time. We expected a lot of rain, but we had much more sun. We had a couple of beautiful coastal walks and saw some places we've not been to before, as well as returning to some favourites. We're looking forward to going again Smile

My grandparents had a very similar glass at their home in West Wales (near Carmarthen). They only had one tree that was slightly larger but everything else is very similar. The house was sold on many years ago.

@runninguphills
Yes, I will be looking at doors and windows the next time we visit!
