I was watching Dinner Date this morning and the girl on it served up on Emma Bridgewater plates and bowls.

The dresser behind her had loads of Emma Bridgewater cups on too. She was young so assume still living at home.

My first thought was "bet her Mum is a Mumsnetter"

My newish friend had a raven decoration in her room. Made me look at her in a whole new light.

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 17/10/2019 09:18

It's odd but despite being on here most days for nearly 15 years, if I come across someone in real life with a whiff of mumsnet about them, I avoid them like the plague. We are not my type 😆

braw · 17/10/2019 09:21

Liberal use of the word "unreasonable".

tangled2 · 17/10/2019 14:49

An obsession with people being 'entitled'

TrueFriendsStabYouInTheFront · 17/10/2019 16:53

A woman from work constantly goes on about 'narcissists' and 'gaslighting'. Mumsnetter for sure!

newroundhere · 17/10/2019 16:56

Zoflora

ginyogarepeat · 17/10/2019 17:27

There’s a woman who lives by me and omg is so full of herself , l was in Home bargains the other day and there was a queue she threw her shopping on a empty till and shouted at the woman on the till to get another cashier, the cashier came and the man in front of me said “other people where here before you”

Well l don’t think he will ever speak up again, it was like an albu post unfolding in front of my eyes.

She had a 12 pack of Pom bears that l wish l had spotted on my way around, l was trying to divert my eyes but my face must of looked like this Shock for most of it.

Buying naice ham in Waitrose while little Balonz sits in the trolley with a tub of olives.

TaffeeComeHome · 17/10/2019 18:17

My neighbour. Every single dry weather day she has several towels hanging out to dry.
I don't know if she washes them first, or if she just hangs them to dry after use.
Most dry days she also hangs bedding out to dry too.

FrownPrincess · 17/10/2019 18:23

Never, ever answering the door.

Several pairs of pyjamas on the washing line every day.

Constantly watches people parking near their house.

TheCanterburyWhales · 17/10/2019 18:25

Anyone wearing anything that's been not-so-covertly product placed on Style and Beauty.
I was in a lift with a mother and child in a hotel and she was in a godawful pair of yellow Saltwaters.
And Hush must be laughing all the way to the bank I'm not in the UK but when I visited a couple of years ago I thought "oh, I'll go into JL and see what this Hush thing is about.
Jeez Louise. Synthetic big print heaven. Looks like Per Una and Boden hotchpotch had a lovechild but on the cheap.
Ten or so years ago it would have been Boden I reckon, but not now.

Every time they see someone park, they whip out a notebook and draw a diagram.

managedmis · 17/10/2019 18:42

Also, people who use the lingo outside of the website : TBH, BTW, AIBU etc.

I know they are used all over t'internet etc but it's a bit of a giveaway really

Bluntness100 · 17/10/2019 18:45

Using zoflora, saying you've been gaslighted, hating toilet brushes, and liberally using the word unreasonable.

TeaAddict235 · 17/10/2019 18:53

anyone I ask a simple question, and they decide to go into detail and correct me in the meantime, as to why they homeschool/don't do preschool/walk everywhere/make their own soap/called their child Elizabeth

they cant give normal simple answers, they essentially descend into a monologue argument.
