Couldn't see one of these threads & I love being nosy!

DH & DS1 have gone off too football, as per usual. Today they'll be gone for 5 hours Shock so it's a long time for me to fill with Ds2 & DS3.

None of them have been given much homework this weekend, so lots of free time! About to have another coffee, then will pull on waterproofs & go for a welly/conker walk. Then home for hot chocolate & some reading/online maths & reading. Then some crafts. Then maybe an hour in the playroom while I sort laundry.

Then DH & DS1 should be home & we'll have lunch & loaf about! Possibly a board game this afternoon.

Rainy days are hard to fill with 2 boys who love running around a lot Grin

Cleaning up more vomit.

salty78 · 13/10/2019 08:48

Washing bedsheets, making a shepherds pie, reading yesterday's paper, catching up on some of the week's telly.

DH has got the rugby on and is going to help DS13 with his history project later. DD in year 11 has a day full of homework.

It's raining all day here too apparently but I don't mind when there's lots to do indoors, trying to catch up on the week. It would be a perfect Sunday, an oasis of calm, if I wasn't feeling guilty about not visiting my parents for ages. Might have to pop round for an hour. Life is just so busy at the moment.

Eminybob · 13/10/2019 08:51

We have a family photo shoot this morning which I’m dreading as I look like a sack of potatoes in photos, plus I’ve just had my hair cut and it’s a bit too short. But we have no photos of the 4 of us so I feel it needs to be done (plus it was a gift)

Then this afternoon visiting in laws to give DNephew his birthday present.

Gym, take my dc swimming, and speak to my solicitor friend about separating from my DH Sad

Ledkr · 13/10/2019 08:58

Well plan was a walk but its pouring here.
So will probably spend hours trying to think of something to do and end up doing nothing.
Busy day yesterday decluttering and packing the hot tub way for the winter. Dd did dance, bike ride and we all went roller skating last night so a lazy day is not a bad thing. Prob do a roast and play scrabble.
Will go swimming later and take dds pj's so she can get ready for bed.

Dowser · 13/10/2019 09:01

Going to the beach then deciding where to have dinner
On holiday 😎

treesurgery · 13/10/2019 09:03

Everyone in the house is still in bed.
I’m contemplating having a bath and washing my hair.
Later, we’re all going to a new place for Sunday lunch. I’m looking forward to it.

Coffeeandtv1983 · 13/10/2019 09:04

DH has taken DS2 to his swimming lesson. DS1 watching Paw Patrol so will see if he wants to go out with his new scooter soon as otherwise he’d happily watch tv all day.

Later DH will take the boys to his mums for a bit so I can get on with some food prep and organising for the week ahead (and maybe have a sneaky coffee and watch some trashy tv). Home made chicken pie for dinner.

Alittlebitofthis · 13/10/2019 09:06

My ds has rugby training this morning then they're having a rugby party after. We can't stay for long though as I'm working tonight so need to drop him off at his grandmas so I can get a sleep.

jobbymcginty · 13/10/2019 09:11

I'm meeting my friend that I only see twice a year we're taking the boys swimming. Just discovered my eldest ds swim shorts to small so a quick dash to sports direct to get a new pair before we meet at the pool.
Do back later as he's been away in campervan last night hopefully bringing sweet chilli chicken pies with him that are amazing . Not our usual Sunday roast but will be so good

tigerbear · 13/10/2019 09:11

DD is at her dads this weekend, so it’s just DP and I at home. I’m still in bed playing on MN.
Plan is to stay at home and snuggle all day, only venturing out for a big food shop.
Going to make roast duck and potato dauphinois later and watch box sets.
Also plans to get all winter clothes out, and sort of the wardrobes.

EsmeeMerlin · 13/10/2019 09:14

We are currently lounging around while dh is making sausage sandwiches. We are then going to get dressed and go for a long walk in the park. This afternoon we will do some cleaning while ds1 and ds2 play and then ds1 has homework. We will watch a film before dinner and bathtime for the boys.

SavageBeauty73 · 13/10/2019 09:15

I've had a awful bug but feel a bit better. I'm going to walk the dog. I'm expecting a delivery of waterproof boots Style and Beauty advised me to get. My 14 year old has absolutely loads of homework so supervise that.

I can't face cooking a roast so easy pasta for dinner. Very chilled.

Whoseagooddoggiethen · 13/10/2019 09:15

My boys are off to a party but gone from 11-5 so if rain stops the dogs and i will head to the beach then i need to do a top up food shop, buy plastic boxes for the attic as im cleaning it up this week and meeting them at the pool so we can swim for an hour when their day is done. Home, dinner, asses on couch with a movie then ironing and a glass of wine when they are in bed :)

Bunnylady53 · 13/10/2019 09:21

A bit grey & soggy here. The house looks like a bomb hit it so there’ll be a tidy up etc. DD needs new school shoes plus the cossie we bought last week has turned out to be too big so we need to exchange it at Sports Direct. Have to do a food shop, even though I only went to Asda the other day. I end up spending more than I should by doing top up shops. DH will clean out the rabbits & we are currently trying to bond a doe & a buck. So far so good on Rabbit Love Island lol 😂 Decided to do pies out of the freezer with mash for tea then remembered that DD has gone gluten free so she can have some of her special fish fingers. There’s washing to catch up on & I have to order one school dinner as DD’s having packed lunches nearly all week.

calilark · 13/10/2019 09:26

Currently sat on sofa with DD and a coffee watching Free Rein. Later to the Post Office to pick up some.parcels, then Dunelm to buy some curtains. Walking the dog in the woods, cooking a roast, sorting out clothes for the week etc. Bit of work this evening while DH is going bedtime. Nothing fun! But we did have a lovely autumnal beach walk yesterday, which ends in chips and hot chocolate, so that balances it out!

Crunchymum · 13/10/2019 09:27

We've missed out swimming lesson and the non sleeping 4yo slept in until 9am today. She must be making up for all the years of not sleeping Grin

This morning is all the 'Sunday chores' (ironing uniform, homework etc)

Oldest has a party at 1pm, so me and other kids will go for lunch after we drop him and grab supplies for the weekly lunches.

DP was meant to be working away until next weekend but he is home this evening for a night so I'm going to surprise the kids with that later. Am planning a family roast later and a film / cuddle on the sofa for me and DP after they go to bed.

yetanothernane · 13/10/2019 09:28

Me and Ds are curled up watching TV. It's dp's day for a lie in, so he's snoring his head off upstairs. Once he gets up I'm off to do the food shopping, then back home play with D's and if it still not raining were going to take him on his bike to try and find pine cones then attempt some homemade birdfeeders. This will turn into chaos!
Then general housework and cook a roast for tea.
We were planning on a trip to Beamish but it's cold and we are lazy 😬

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 13/10/2019 09:28

DH arrived home at 1:30 this morning - his train was delayed by 50 min. He's already back at work - finishing a paper he has do deliver next week.
DD is happy that her student finances have come through and is preparing for her first 'actual' week.
DS is still asleep, DCat dito.
I have to go back to work tomorrow, so I'll do some ironing (if you miss the right moment with linen shirts ...), plan the week (DH away with work again.) and perhaps I'll bake a marble cake to eat with blackberry jam.

confusedandemployed · 13/10/2019 09:29

Watching rugby and eating away my hangover at present. Will walk dog at some point and collect car from pub.
Then people over for Sunday lunch...I have 3 bottles of red which will not be consumed today 🤢

chesterdraws1 · 13/10/2019 09:30

DM is dropping DS2 home this morning then we are going for lunch with my friend and her DTs. She's going to fill me in on all the shot that's been happening with her absolute loser of a boyfriend.

I have to go to a meeting at work tonight at 8.30 that will probably go job until very late.

Will walk dogs in rain at some point.

chesterdraws1 · 13/10/2019 09:31

*shit not shot obvs

maddiemookins16mum · 13/10/2019 09:31

I’ve just got up and making tea/toast.
DP is out on a bike ride.
DD is doing study.
MIL arriving for lunch at 2pm, so doing a lovely roast chicken with all the trimmings plus Mary Berrys steamed treacle pudding with custard.
Will relax on the sofa with telly this pm.
A few small jobs this morning but the house is 90% spotlessly tidy at present.

Xiaoxiong · 13/10/2019 09:34

Made bagels for the DCs, French toast and bacon and coffee for me and DH. Then I'll try and get the kids to do a bit of music practice and walk the dog in the drizzle, then read my book group book (which is hilarious).

We have house guests and they'll probably sleep till we put the rugby on at 11.45.

Sunday lunch and then take the DCs swimming. Indian takeaway leftovers for dinner.

dementedma · 13/10/2019 09:36

Am visiting the outer hebrides and weather fine at the moment. Off to walk along Luskentyre beach, then watch the rugby, then will go and explore the East side of Harris. Did the West yesterday. Bliss!
