My aim this week is to be more Liz

I would have said Julia until the first episode of second series, I was quite disappointed she didn't take the promotion. I know you shouldn't look too much into a sitcom but I felt they were limiting her and sending a bit of a shit message tbh...I know, I know sitcom etc, but I saw Motherhood as a breath of fresh air until this episode.

I’m a working Liz, her attitude but with a full time job.

I think I'm closest to Liz. Although in one episode someone said to her that she was just on the right side of not giving a fuck. I suspect I may be on the wrong side. I put it down to age. I reckon I was more like Anne in my younger days.

I’m Julia, dh realised he’s Paul where a scene went to him drunk on a boat with his friends (possible stag do) leaving Julia to do everything.

I’m glad they didn’t have her take the job. There’s a sense of two fingers to the pressures on all of us when she walked out (not so much the chucking up into her cardboard box, but we’ve all been there...)
