Working Liz. Dp is a total Kevin, he fell about at the bit about his wife not being too threatened by his job...

But Audrey in the Let Down is much more me, even down to her job.

I think I'm most like Kevin 🤭

NotQuiteUsual · 13/10/2019 20:35

I'm a Kevin. The schools Anne even has a weird love, hate thing going on with me.

Spellcheck · 13/10/2019 20:40

Laughing about this brilliant thread to husband, who then BLOODY told me he thinks I’m Amanda with elements of Liz?!
Grounds for divorce? Or should I sting him for a vanity project shop first?

I think I have Anne's desperation to please & thus be liked, plus Julia's disorganised streak. Not a good combination! Thankfully, I also have a good dollop of Liz's sarcasm to boot Grin

I swear that the writer of Motherland got her material from being ousted from my first antenatal / mum and baby group : there were 30 in the extended group to start with but our own Amanda and her bullies meant everyone left in the end apart from the three of them.

Amanda is a perfect rendition of the self appointed leader of the group and she had her own little side kicks who were too scared of being ousted from the group to stand up to her. I was too and then I did and I got ousted so became Liz.

Ultimately that was the best thing that could have happened as made a whole new group of kind hearted lovely friends.

Our own Amanda and her two cowardly sidekicks all fell out and moved away and now it's lovely knowing we don't have to bump into any of them anymore.
But Amanda exists for real.
