Homemade pizza, sweet corn and salad.
Aldi almond and orange dark chocolate for pud- it's my favourite - just debating whether to have a bit more.

Confit duck legs with orange sauce, orangey carrots, caramelised onions, homemade potato salad, chunky coleslaw and a green salad.

Tomorrow is Cranberry Lamb- slow cooked lamb in cranberry sauce, lamb stock and Worcester sauce with garlic roast baby potatoes and parsnips, green veg, Yorkshires and a gravy made from the stuff the lamb has been cooking in. Mmmmmmm! ( my family call it cranberry lamberry! 😬)

Brigit tell me about your life please I imagine it to be like jilly Cooper!

We had spag Bol, me and dh don’t really like it but the kids love it and I was lacking imagination.

JapaneseBirdPainting · 12/10/2019 21:17

Our spag bol worked quite well. DS1 ate 2/3 of it, then went and got himself cheerios.

I am going to turn the leftovers into tacos tomorrow. Not quite enough to segue into a toastie.... although deeply temppting!!!!

I used to make a mean dick confit back in the day. had forgotten about it!

@JapaneseBirdPainting

I'm sure you meant a duck confit but gave me a chuckle anyway

JapaneseBirdPainting · 12/10/2019 22:01

Why yes, Why yes I did. :)

BeckyVardy ha ha ha ha ha! Nothing could be further from the truth!!!!

JapaneseBirdPainting 😂 reminds me of a text conversation about an upcoming Sunday dinner with my 80 year old MiL who stated that yes she loved dick!

For clarification please don't be impressed - the confit duck is a ready made Gressingham thing.

The cranberry lamb is the easiest dish in the world- chuck it in the slow cooker. Potatoes are a few packs of baby potatoes unpeeled. Aunt Bessie Yorkshire's etc!

Japanese I used this recipe, with smoked paprika instead of Kashmiri chilli, and it was very nice!
