Cant sleep....anyone else??

Cant shut off my mind tonight.too many unwanted thoughts!contemplating food

I am not asleep either.

Too much going on...

Also awake and contemplating going downstairs for a bowl of cereal. Have to be up in 3 hours and so want to be asleep!

I hope I don't start eating. I have had enough rubbish for one day.
I am listening to torrential rain with gusts of wind

Me too ,I should be sleeping,its the first night in two months my autistic son has slept till this time and now I cant sleep,no doubt hell wake when I nod off.

Awake. Nasty bout of tonsillitis and just getting over the worst but it's leaving a horrible taste in my mouth and a bit of a tickle that makes me cough. Trying to sleep upright and needing to sip water every ten minutes isn't allowing me to drop off.

And I'm jealous of your shortbread whatamum. It's my fave but I think all those crumbs would aggravate my throat right now.

I'd like the sound of rain. My current sound system is my six year old talking in her sleep next to me and my cat snoring very loudly. 😂.

Morning all, the sashh cafe is open for coffee,bacon butties and tea.

I can't because I have a cold and my nose is blocked so I am now drinking hot tea and blowing my nose ... boo hoo! I haven't had a cold for years - I blame the woman in Tesco's coughing and sneezing behind me in the queue.

@ratbag not being a pet person wasn't aware cats snore,how intriguing !yes I'm afraid it's the shortbread, dont envy me it's so calorific it should come with a health warning.still no stopping me

@sashh bacon butty with no fat please ,extra crispy.tea no sugar, I've had a huge chunk of shortbread that's rotting my teeth but warming my belly

Yes cats snore, sneeze, fart and sigh. Mine taps me with his paw if he wants feeding he is a rag doll and very affectionate and annoying!

@Jo dont even want to dare ask if a cat fart stinks!

When I first got my dopey cat (who's got three legs!!) last year from cats protection, the first night I had him I thought someone had broken in.
It's just me and my daughter in the house and I could hear this heavy breathing/snoring. Discovered it was him after walking around the house very tentatively.

I'm awake, think I might be in labour but not quite sure.
I'm 41weeks and have been cramping for a couple weeks now so not sure if this is the real deal or not

I’m awake with a swollen throat and temperature. Need to drag myself through work today, then I’m allowed to flop! Tempted to go downstairs for rabbit cuddles and tea, but I don’t want to wake up the whole house....
