Wasn't it just the stories though? I don't think you can hide posts on Instagram from people but you can stories. So you don't see comments on that anyway as they go as PM's and only the poster can see who has viewed the stories.

Nottyverychatty she blocked her other friends from being able to see her posts. The only person able to view her posts were RV. So she posted several false stories and knew full well only RV could see them.
They ended up in the paper.

I hope for RV's sake that it's one of her PR team because she'll never live this down, less be accepted into any kind of circle like that again.

Thing is when someone is lying they often give too much detail. RV has done exactly that - the access to her account, she doesn't need the money.. if she was genuine and this came as a bolt from the blue I don't thing you would see that in the initial response. It would be an outright denial - no excuses, no explanations. Just I did not do this.

The big message is: don’t believe what you read in the papers. That is a given with The Sun, obv, but some people still seem to find the Mail credible.

Dear mumsnet, I think a 'friend' is spreading gossip about me! Everytime I post a personal story on insta that obviously isn't that personal as I'm putting it on insta other people mention it to me.
