Just a bit of Friday fun.
Imagine you're in a nice restaurant.
You can only order ONE dish.
What would your order be?

Mine would be seabass with scallops and salad.

I would go for Bouillabaisse and frites on the side, preferably in France. Followed by Tarte Tatin.

I can't do it. I am moody about food, one day I might fancy steak and chips, another day it would have to be creamy lasagna. My perfect meal would never include salad though. or vegetables

I'd order a vegetable pasanda with lots of sides--mini Poppadoms with raita and mango chutney, bombay potatoes, samosas, mop up the sauce with a peshwari naan and give a huge contented sigh.

Although sausage fingers and mashed brain also sounds delightful.

It can come with frites though right?!? Otherwise I’m not sold on this imaginary restaurant.

A big bowl of Dal Masalam (preferably made the day before and reheated so the flavours can develop) and a tandoori roti.

I'll have grilled swordfish with fresh fig and cardomom chutney, rainbow chard and squid ink linguine in chilli and garlic oil. I had this once at the Conran restaurant overlooking Tower Bridge and have never forgotten it.

I think I'm too working class for this restaurant. I'm ordering macaroni cheese and chunky chips with salad and ketchup (not together).

Do I get wanky hipster points because the macaroni cheese needs to be gluten free?

There's so many delicious meals here. This is my favourite from a beautiful restaurant in Jersey. Sea bream on a bed on samphire and jersey royals with broccoli in a shrimp and lemon butter sauce.
