Shamelessly looking for ideas - we normally have some form of spaghetti bolognese on a Sunday evening but just not feeling it today!

DP is making chicken stir fry

Just had cod in cheese sauce with mash and peas. Grilled the fish with crispy cheese topping.
Might have to go to Wetherspoons for a pudding!

Toad in the hole (with veggie sausages), carrot and swede mash, green beans, broccoli and gravy hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Oven baked salmon, with roast potatoes, parsnip and kumara, with beans, carrots, broccoli, asparagus and carrots. Vege Fest!

(If I dont' chuck it at cheeky surly teenagers head first. . .)

Oh and wine. That might prevent tea being chucked at cheeky surly teenagers head. . .

We have leftover meat, so having stovies- I can't wait!

Not a massive amount as had a pub lunch which was unlimited pies and all the trimmings! Kids didn't eat much so DH is making them a cheese toastie. I just like these threads.

We had sticky Vietnamese pork with pickled courgette, black sesame rice and grated carrot. It was really good and I say that because it was a gousto box meal so not down to me. DS12 hoovered it up although stopped eating the courgette when it had been identified as such!

Roast dinner as we do every single Sunday unless it's really hot weather say 32 degrees

I gave him a sandwich with ham in it the other day. he said 'this is delicious, what sort of butter is it?' As soon as I told him it was mayonnaise he rejected it in hororr!

We always have pizza Sunday evening.

I've had chicken korma and rice, naan bread. Galaxy Ripple for my "pudding". On my third glass of wine.

@JapaneseBirdPainting why do they do that! Its so peculiar but I suppose we can live in hope they accept courgettes and mayo in good time!!

DH is off today - BTW it's still officially breakfast time and you're all making me starving!

We were too busy for a roast yesterday so roast leg of lamb, greens and most importantly, yorkies and EVEN MORE importantly, roast potatoes at circa 5ish before DD goes out to do her thing on a Monday. Can't bloody wait.

I made a tray of veggie burgers but the DC still want battered cod from the freezer😯..ill sling a coupla portions in the oven for them&chuck in sum potato wedges whilst theyre doin..everyones happy!

@JapaneseBirdPainting I hope your DH is still alive this morning! Just the thought of eating 9 day old leftover Chinese makes me want to vomit!

Easy dinner tonight. Shepherds pie, roasted carrots with a marmalade glaze and cauliflower cheese.

Sausage casserole type thing with mash. Feeling really sorry for myself today and need some comfort food!

I'm doing fish pie, by popular demand (bless their little cotton socks, I wonder what they're trying to butter me up for), and custard and ice cream. And of course, the ubiquitous wine.

Did the DH survive the 9 day old Chinese? It was possibly reheated even before it got to your house which is decidedly 🤮

Baked potatoes tonight with various fillings. Tuna mayo, coleslaw, coronation chicken, salad, cheese.
