Mine: homemade carbonara for lunch, pink cava in the fridge for later and seeing friends this evening

Seeing a cat with three tiny kittens, all waiting to be adopted together at the rescue centre. They all looked very content! I was dropping off some food donations & blankets & had to resist having a look around myself

My DS did a poo on the toilet! Yes it’s potty training time! Also the flicker of shadows in the sun through our windows, a clean kitchen, towels drying on the line, and 10 mins peace to use my cheapie but effective massage chair.

Strictly starting tonight!

My new duvet arriving. Bought pillows last month but decided to wait to use my new ones until I got my duvet. Tonight im getting into bed with new pillows, duvet and freshly washed and ironed bed linen. Heavenly.

A phone call from my dad.

Having a duvet day with my kids and husband . It's also outside and we're al tucked up watching Disney movies . Later when the kids go to bed there will be strictly, a Chinese take away and lots of wine 😊

NDN - I cat sit for them - brought over a glass of very special honey, a pot of autumn flowers in a lovely violet colour and big sack of their cat litter (very good but expesive).
There was no need for this because I like the cats and it is kind of a neighbourly duty anyway.

An absolutely beautiful drive to an event in an area I've not been to before. (Event was rubbish but the drive was breathtaking...)

Being able to finish work at lunchtime rather than 3:30.

I've washed and air dried 3 loads of washing... think I need to get out more!!

Hearing my dog snore. DH texting to say he'll pick up some shopping on his way home so I don't have to go back out. Going a full 7 days with no alcohol!

The glorious sun outside. And as a result my sofa cover and woolen blankets were washed/dried and replaced within 6hrs!

A shiny new phone, a nice walk with friends in the sunshine and iced coffee!

DS1 played really well in his sports match this morning. I hope this doesn't sound smug but he is autistic and plays quite a niche sport which a few years ago I never would have thought he would be able to do and I'm bursting with pride! He has worked so hard and this sport has given him so much confidence, it amazes me!

Making my son's birthday cake.

Massive hug I got off ds when I came home from work this afternoon.

He was playing in the front and saw me walking down the road, legged it to me and nearly knocked me over. Priceless

Dh brought me a Cadbury's snack in from swimming, I washed my hair and put contact lenses in, my baby was cute, strictlys on tonight.

Glorious sunshine, washing outside and now sitting in the garden with some grape juice and we're gonna get a takeaway tonight as a treat 🤗

Taking DD shopping for her dress formals for sixth form. She looked so, so smart and sophisticated in them I might have come over a bit tearful.

Other DD and her boyfriend are currently baking brownies in the kitchen and the smell is to die for.

I helped a blind lady across the road. She asked if she was at the right stop...I checked, she wasn't!! Another lady had deposited her on the wrong side. It would've taken her 3hrs if she'd gone the wrong way instead of 10 mins

She was very lovely and sounded like Victoria Wood.

And I'm about to bake a cake for my DS's birthday too.
