I need a middle name for my new dog.

My mum and I have shared parentage of a Westie called Tilly. She is a bit lonely and sad, so we are adopting a new Westie of a similar age and disposition called Hattie.

Now, as you all know, anything that may ever need to be told off needs a middle name so they can be “fullnamed”. Tilly’s full name is Matilda Jane. Hattie will be Harriet, but we need a middle name for her....

I need a middle name for my new dog.

I have a large dog ornament that likes on my table and he is called Claude. He doesn’t need a middle name as he is never naughty..!

Some of these suggestions are wonderful....!

Evelyn would be my choice. Our dog Bella is called Bella Bella Rockerfella when she is being a bit of a pain.

My dog Nandi is actually Nandi Esmerelda Millicent 'surname'. Its very satisfying to say when shes just eaten something she shouldn't have.

Harriet Louise.
She's adorable!
I also agree with middle names, I have Two Westies Jasper Tobias and Maggie Ann x

We have double barrelled our surnames for our dogs ‘being told off’ name. His full name has 3 syllables, as does both our surnames. The dogs full name therefore has 9 syllables. He has usually forgotten what it was he did wrong or legged it out the room by the time we get it out.

Lady Harriet Anastasia Knickerstickers has a nice ring to it. Perhaps when she gets older she could be the Dowager Countess Harriet Anastasia Knickerstickers.

My dog is called ruby but we call her nicknames. Mostly rubes, also beast and munch, sometimes we call her munch bunch beast. She answers to all

'Bathsheba' would surely good for striking fear into the miscreant being fullnamed, if you emphasis the first syllable...

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 21/09/2019 22:33

I didn't even give my children middle names !

But our animals have 'Names' and 'Sunday Names'
