I'm drinking my usual cup of tea in the kitchen while the girls sleep in. Washer's going & the radio's on. I'll wash up the pots from last night shortly (never wash them on Friday night).

I was going to nip into town this morning but cba I don't think & didn't really want to take the girls (costs more!).

We'll probably have a moochy day at home, get homework out of the way I think, & maybe a wander to the park.

I'm off out for tea and a few drinks later so their dad's going to get takeaway pizza with them. I have no idea what to wear [hnm]

Dd’s have gone to their drama thing for the next 4 hours so I think I’m going to make the most of the weather by going and buying a Christmas magazine I spied in Tesco yesterday and a punnet of blueberries for breakfast! Washed down by a lovely cup of coffee Grin

youngestisapsycho · 21/09/2019 09:06

I’m off to Westfield , all alone, for some retail therapy and a nice quiet lunch! Smile

lucysmam · 21/09/2019 09:07

@TheGirlWhoLived that sounds like a lovely way to spend your time! (I hadn't seen that Christmas mags were out -they're the only ones I'll buy - so I might buy one for tomorrow's hangover!)

I'm working til 2.30 and then going to have a wisdom tooth taken out😫

Ginfordinner · 21/09/2019 09:18

Taking DD to university

happypotamus · 21/09/2019 09:22

Sleeping for a bit (just got home from a night shift) then tidying up the house before everyone gets back. DH has gone out for the day and DC are at their grandparents.

BrutusMcDogface · 21/09/2019 09:25

Activities for the kids and that’s about it! (4 kids and loads of activities.) then some laundry and housework. Woop.

BrutusMcDogface · 21/09/2019 09:26

Gin - how do you feel? Flowers

crimsonlake · 21/09/2019 09:30

Lucysmam, great plan not to take the DC'S shopping with you. I never understand how any type of shopping has become a family affair. Never dragged mine out to the shops, left them with my ex to do activities that they enjoyed and were healthy for them.
I am in bed browsing the net with a cuppa, need to go in to work later for a few hours to show my face at a function.
I have some lamb cooking in the slow cooker, a box set latr and a couple of gin's for me.

wheresmyhairytoe · 21/09/2019 09:42

Hoping to head to the coast to make the most of the sunshine.

AlexandraPeppernose · 21/09/2019 09:54

Taken my ds to play footie an hr from home. Will get home at 1ish, take dd2 to library then prep for the dinner party I'm hosting later

Fizzytonicplease · 21/09/2019 09:59

DH has taken DS1 to his swimming lesson, I was just about to clean the bathroom but DS2 has decided to take a nap on me (he is 3months) so im watching Glow on Netflix instead. We are going out for a walk later and maybe visit a local fair.

wendz86 · 21/09/2019 10:10

Dd2 currently at ballet . Quick trip to Tesco after and then dd1 has her dance classes . As it looks like the last nice day in a while might do park later .

EmmiJay · 21/09/2019 10:13

DD wants to get Halloween stuff so we're going to the high street in a bit. Then we'll swing by my mums for lunch.

TroysMammy · 21/09/2019 10:14

Blackberry picking but I think we've left it too late.

Orangecake123 · 21/09/2019 10:17

I've already gone to the gym.

Shower
Cook breakfast
Look and choose christmas presents online Grin
Make lunch eventually
Watch a movie
Clean.

TheGirlWhoLived · 21/09/2019 10:28

Thanks! I went for simply Christmas in the end, got sausages for tonight’s dinner and looking forward to dh having a day off and doing something nice tomorrow

FromTheAllotment · 21/09/2019 10:44

I have been being disciplined and telling myself it is Too Early for Christmas magazines. You lot are not helping my resolve Grin Envy

We’ve all got colds except DH. He’s nipped out to the shops, I’ve had a very long lie in and am contemplating getting up now, and the DC (3 & 6) are watching Milkshake.

I suspect we will be lazing around doing not much today. Maybe some gardening if we feel up to it.

lucysmam · 21/09/2019 10:46

@FromTheAllotment surely a Christmas mag is the ideal way to spend a lazy day in the sunshine if you're feeling under the weather Wink

As usual I had great plans for a productive day today but I had a couple of vodkas last night and have the tail end of a cold so I'm feeling a bit meh! My parents are here gardening so I suppose I'll have to show willing!

I'll start by cleaning the downstairs loo and I need to get the accounts up to date for a charity I'm involved with.

Going out with DP this evening for the soft launch of a restaurant I was involved with the refurbishment of and had planned to make a real effort with the grooming beforehand - will need to find my mojo!

209902e · 21/09/2019 10:48

Attempting to start studying for my OU course, but feeling completely out of my depth and wondering if I've made the right decision!

Waxonwaxoff0 · 21/09/2019 10:49

Not too sure yet. Weather is lovely so may take DS to the park. I have food shopping to do too. Going on holiday in 3 weeks so I'm having a few budget weekends!

I’ve been blackberry picking with the kids, just putting dd down for her nap, will go down and either play with ds or mow the lawn - dp was supposed to do it but isn’t feeling well. Making a crumble later.
