I'm drinking my usual cup of tea in the kitchen while the girls sleep in. Washer's going & the radio's on. I'll wash up the pots from last night shortly (never wash them on Friday night).

I was going to nip into town this morning but cba I don't think & didn't really want to take the girls (costs more!).

We'll probably have a moochy day at home, get homework out of the way I think, & maybe a wander to the park.

I'm off out for tea and a few drinks later so their dad's going to get takeaway pizza with them. I have no idea what to wear [hnm]

Got a cold so not venturing out. I need to do some clothes washing, wash my hair (I genuinely don’t remember when I washed it last but luckily it doesn’t get greasy anymore) & get some work done. DH works from home also I need to work around him as we have 2 young DC. DH & I have been bickering a lot lately (both sleep deprived thanks to a newborn) so I’m going to do my best to keep calm & not wind him up (I hope he has the same aim today!).

I've been to a spin class, going climbing this afternoon then to a colleague's party this evening.

Cocolapew · 21/09/2019 11:04

I wanted to have a lazy day, I'm not sleeping very well due to coming off hrt, but DD2 had managed to get a part time job for Christmas so I'm taking her over this afternoon, and DD1 and me will go and get a bit of shopping.
Dog walking and eating are the only other things on the agenda Smile

DonnaDarko · 21/09/2019 11:04

Just dropped off some old shoes, bags and clothes for recycling.
Now we're going shopping
Tonight I'm doing the shine walk in London!

MuseumOfYou · 21/09/2019 11:07

Blackberry picking but I think we've left it too late

Where are you? I'm in the south west and I was driving along the hedgerows this morning, just thinking how fabulous they look! Loads ripe and loads more to come.

han01uk · 21/09/2019 11:10

13 hr shift at work

MaltedMilk88 · 21/09/2019 11:15

I’ve been to the next sale early doors, done the food shopping, came back and made breakfast.

DD (11 weeks) is napping, I’m having a cuppa and browsing mumsnet whilst DH is mowing the lawns.
We are going to a food event this afternoon which they have on in our town with some friends
Then nothing too exciting tonight just bath and bed for DD and me and DH will probably watch a film on Netflix whilst pigging out on peanut m&m’s! X

Off for lunch in a poshish restaurant. I am very excited!

CrazyCatLady159 · 21/09/2019 11:27

DD has gone off to her dads
I've put the washing on, sat in my dressing gown watching friends with a cup of tea Brew

curly100 · 21/09/2019 11:54

Writing on here what I'm going to do seems to have made me do it so I'm going to see if writing that I'm going to tackle my bedroom will also work...!

Rockbird · 21/09/2019 12:02

Doing a bit of tech maintenance on MacBooks and phones and dozing while they're updating. Then over to in laws this afternoon.

TroysMammy · 21/09/2019 16:54

MuseumOfYou Swansea. When I mean too late I was expecting our favourite (and everyone else's) blackberry picking area to have already been decimated. I had enough and am now watching the juice dripping out of a jelly bag ready for boiling and potting up tomorrow.

Anthilda · 21/09/2019 17:03

Cleaning up after new puppy, cleaning the house, watching bbc iplayer and nursing a hangover.

FaerieKiss · 21/09/2019 18:27

Have just unclagged the dishwasher which was weirdly satisfying. No plans for tonight except drinking tea and reading Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill, I am so gripped.

DH currently buried under miles of cabling in the study and I am studiously ignoring all his tutting. If he can extricate himself I might persuade him to go and pick up some take out.

LifeOfBox · 21/09/2019 18:35

I went to choose a rescue cat today which was difficult in view of the UCI - roads closed absolutely everywhere near me. Impromptu family lunch.

I am going to have a glass of wine and plant my winter hanging baskets tonight.

Ithinkwerealonenowtiffany · 21/09/2019 18:37

Walked 8 miles into town with my friend. Ended up having 3 pints. Now home, feeling a bit😴 trying to cook tea!

Early to bed as I have a 20 mile run at 8am.

AnOojamaflip · 21/09/2019 18:37

Not the best of days @LorelaiRoryEmily!! Hope you're not too sore.

zinger · 21/09/2019 18:42

Just dropped my eldest at uni, I'm an emotional mess!!

LorelaiRoryEmily · 21/09/2019 20:59

@AnOojamaflip it actually wasn't too bad at all, thank you. It was a different dentist to the one I was expecting and he was lovely. 2 injections and 5 mins to read and sign consent and he had it out in 2 minutes. I want to marry himGrin it's getting sore now and I'm starving 😫
