What would you do?

Mine would be assembling Ikea furniture, either in store or in peoples houses.

I love building it, it's very therapeutic.

I'm sure I could make a fortune telling people how to be a good Grandparent

It's so fucking easy, just be nice, and let your children bring their children their way

And do some babysitting !

ShabbyNat · 19/09/2019 22:39

I would love to open a craft centre for children & adults, doing all sorts of crafts & would be very open to start new crafts too.

Puppy/ kitten cuddler though I'd probably use the title 'young animal socialisation consultant'

Longdistance · 19/09/2019 22:40

Wine connoisseur.

ISmellBabies · 19/09/2019 22:41

What a great question! Mine would be either:

  1. Arranging football fixtures, working out when teams should play each other and avoiding match clashes.
  2. Programming traffic signals to make traffic run more smoothly.

Bit weird but it's because I love a good puzzle GrinOoh, or I'd open up an animal sanctuary

ElizaPancakes · 19/09/2019 22:56

I'd like to be a fiction book editor. Or a mattress tester which I have to assume is people sleeping all day and not some machine Grin

FaithInfinity · 19/09/2019 22:57

FrangipaniBlue · 19/09/2019 23:05

Park Ranger!

I love being outdoors, up mountains, tromping round forests etc

puppymouse · 19/09/2019 23:05

Me twenty years ago would have said the West End stage.

Me now says probably something like panda zoo keeper.

My back up job is long distance lorry driver as I quite like driving and motorway services.

chesterfuckingdraws · 19/09/2019 23:06

A mattress tester Grin

Failing that a flat pack furniture builder. I had a conversation with DH just the other night saying I wish I could do that as my full time job

Ormally · 19/09/2019 23:09

Live-in warden for somewhere both historic and eccentric. Space on the grounds to create a little artist's studio to let out or lend out over the summer or something.

MorrisZapp · 19/09/2019 23:11

Non offensive sitcom wins the thread :)

I'd like to do jigsaws for a living. Happy to be filmed, narrating my strategy to the camera.

supermodel · 19/09/2019 23:13

Tv critic definitely.

Lego kit reviewer

Fashion model booker and scout (always been interested in this but don't know why!)

AwdBovril · 19/09/2019 23:38

Wrapping presents
Baker - I love baking & could be enormously fat if I baked as much as I'd like. Or just a cook - however I agree with the PP who said they'd probably not enjoy it as much if they had to do it all the time.
Sewing
Knitting (possibly designing patterns, I've done it before but only for myself).

ALemonyPea · 20/09/2019 07:44

Might have to have Lego kit reviewer to my list.
