Almost instant nausea
Cold sweat
Feels like a drug high
Anyone else had this?
Will it go?
It’s awful

I’m not sure why that would make such a difference
I need something to calm me down and this makes me more tense
My jaw aches
I have to keep taking these deep breaths to try and relax my body
My head and neck are so tight from tension
I’ve given it 6 weeks hoping that these side effects would wane but I can’t put up with them

If you aren't feeling pretty marvellous at the 6 week stage then I think it is the wrong drug for you. It does work on anxiety but clearly not for you.

Can you go back and ask to try something different?

A friend of mine with terrible anxiety has just been prescribed Vortioxitine as literally nothing has worked on her physical symptoms of anxiety (daily vomiting etc).

She is only two weeks in, but perhaps ask your GP about this?

I hated venlafaxine. Never been so spacey and disorientated in my life.
One of my problems was forgetting a dose, that didn't help either.
I am on a different antidepressant now mainly again because I forget doses and ended up with fat eyelids Grin and alexa reminds me every day

My last sentence makes no sense!
The one I take now, if I forget to take a dose, I get fat eyelids, like an allergic reaction.
So now alexa reminds me every day.
